this is a good movie from start to finish it has humor and scares in it all around good cast so check it out worth owning and since this is a region free blu-ray worth buying from over seas bc the u.s one is only a double movie with not so good one so if you want this movie on it own buy it from over seas and the blu-ray looks and sounds very good so worth the up grade from dvd and all the exrras from the dvd have been put on the blu-ray worth owning

I purchased this DVD without knowing anything about it, all i knew was that it was going too be scarey. When i got it, i peered at the back of the case and thought that it looked a bit cheap, and tacky. Then i put it into my dvd player and my views changed. The moment the animated menu appears, you know this film is going to be a stunner. As for the story itself, it starts of with an action scene, then the real story begins, the ways the viewer is told information is simply spectacular. The way people die in the film is also amazing, never been done before. As for the 13 ghosts, well most of them are utterly terrifying although one or two are slightly unrealistic. Well BUY THIS DVD if you like to be scared, i do. Ive watched it 3 times and i only got it this morning. Its much better than House On Haunted Hill and not a long as The Others which makes this film a must have for any "Scarey Movie" fan, YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED!! came on time, looked and was exactly as described, was region free, no problems and excellent delivery as usual :) seen it years ago but just bought this on blue-ray to really appreciate it! was STUNNED! one of the best horrors I have ever seen and truly a well made film! even better in high definition! 8D would definitely recommend this 1 to any fans of the horror genre! brilliant :)

I don't know many people who don't dislike remakes, but this happens to be a good one. In place of the original 'magic glasses' that cinema goers needed in order to see the ghouls in the 1960s original, we get to see them through the 'spectral viewers' that the characters in the movie wear. This is a nice touch that works very well. Anyway, no long-winded review from me; just one to say this is a good, solid, very entertaining horror movie with very good acting, particularly from Tony Shalhoub (who i think is a sorely underrated/overlooked and incredibly talented actor), and one with enough surprises and 'jumps' to keep you in suspense throughout. I think it's a lot better than a lot of people give it credit for, and the production/direction team is an excellent one.

Chiller thriller. The ghosts are sinister and chilling in their demeanour. There are some good stunts at the end. The music is dynamic and full of movement. The plot follows the story of a man who inherits a house. However, the house is a huge machine designed by the Devil and powered by dead souls.

Love this film and love this seller...never had a problem with any of the films or cd’s I buy...

Bought used but work very good. About a family who inherit a house made of steel and glass. A mysterious puzzle-cube whose eerie corridors, sliding walls,spinning floors and phantasmic fiends may allow no escape.
