I am a student of accredited Human Nutrition degree and we use various professional equipment for body composition readings at the university. I have tested this scale against our very expensive bio-impedance scale and they both have pretty similar readings, which only shows that this is a good quality personal body composition scale! Obviously, there will always be differences in results from various body composition methods as the perfect method wasn't discovered yet, except post mortem tissue analysis! So far, bio-impedance methods are highly accurate and good indicator of where you stand. This scale is very easy to use and the fact that you can connect it to your phone is pretty awesome! The value is also great, I can only recommend!

simple to setup, connects to the phone via bluetooth very easy, and if you forget your phone, can still be used as a "dumb" scale, its anazing how well it seems to track all the extra measurments (body fat bone density body water bmi skeletal muscle protien ect) easy to read with a bright clear screen

These scales give a lot of information, especially for the price. However, I’m not sure how accurate the body measurements are. They are +2lbs out compared to my professional scales so not the end of the world but not true accuracy either. They are consistent with their readings though. Also, these say I have very high muscle mass which I don’t! This makes me skeptical about the accuracy of the other stats. The number readout is very large, even bigger than the pics suggest, which is nice. Also, the build quality seems fairly sturdy and they look really nice. Overall I’m happy with them for the price but if you need more accurate info you’d be better off going with the more expensive ones.

Great product. Gives me an exact reading of my body information via the app. Simple and stylish glass look; very durable, easy to clean and transport with its sleek design. Excellent value for money in my opinion.

Extremely good quality, glad I purchased these seem very accurate as well which never seems to be the case with these things! The app is full of great stats. Buy them!!! My ex had 180 quid ones, these are just as good TBH if not better, they seem more regular readings, with her ones I was up and down half a stone all the time!

Great scales, easy to use, just simply download the 'Renpho App' on your phone, to track & manage your weight goals + BMI - it is not one of those scandalous 'subscription-only' services, where you have to pay to use the app, sometimes after a stupid trial... Came in perfect, flawless condition - well packaged. I was slightly apprehensive, as there were some concerns about the glass shattering during transit - as a lot of packages become damaged (in varying degrees of severity). I don't usually purchase scales, but this one caught my eye, as it has great features, is glass + metal, not a plastic body/shell (only for the battery housing) - it is sleek and modern-looking; somewhat stylish - certainly not out of place. Can be stored away very easily, if required. It is reasonably weighted - just like a small piece of tempered glass(?)... The batteries seem to last forever, which is great! It is considerably easy to calibrate - via one-step function, all you need to do is apply pressure with one foot briefly and release to initiate the Calibration sequence, it will flash a couple of times " -- -- " and then display " 00.00 ", which means it is calibrated & ready... If you have your Bluetooth 'On'/Enabled on your Phone, it will automatically connect & immediately send & sync your results to your phone to be saved/logged & synced + will tell you how much weight + BMI you have lost/gained since last time (plus comparisons & how much progress you have made/lost on your personalised, custom goals) - in addition to displaying your Weight & BMI on the digital scales (at your feet). (It is advised to measure your weight "barefoot"). You can quickly set up your profile on the app with personal/tailored goals/plans to suit your lifestyle, wants & capabilities. It is a versatile application with many features that can keep you motivated! It will provide REALISTIC deadlines for the goals you set - which is calculated from the exact information you input for each statistic... Like weight, age, height, habits - diet - calorific intake, your daily/weekly/monthly exercise routine/s, current rituals, cardiac rhythm/bpm, etc... It can only offer realistic, tailored goals & expectations based solely upon the information that you have provided! (No need to lie to AI). You will receive a comprehensive estimation as to when/how long it 'could' take for you to realistically reach near/achieve your, tangible, goals - specifically based on the details you provide, as long as you stick to a persistent, unwavering plan and don't give up! The display on the scale itself is extremely visible/easy to read, with it's distinctive bright Red-coloured graphics, on a dark background, that make it conveniently suitable for most eyesight conditions, with it's discernible clarity and contrasted characters/font. I feel incredibly stable when standing on these scales, there is no concern there whatsoever; stepping on/off with one foot + all your weight on one side still does not cause it to destabilise or become unbalanced under uneven weight - it distributes weight across it's 4 feet rather well and is a considerable contender when it comes to viable, efficient scales. I have had absolutely no issues with the Bluetooth connection, as it is quick & automatic (after the first time connecting/pairing manually) - my phone has never not connected automatically, whenever the Bluetooth is on - even if other devices are connected to my phone, it still manages to pick up the information rapidly (sometimes I forget my Bluetooth is on and get surprised with the results on my phone!). When testing the efficacy of the accuracy, I have found them to be rather, shockingly, precise! No issues when it comes to overall reliability + function*. *(But, as with ANY other electronic device, you must allow for some slight inaccuracies/miscalculations - after all, there is a probability of minor radio/electrical interference, when using anything digital and some components may be minimally flawed/biased and/or altered, due to magnetic fields... These are just a few examples of possible factors to consider when taking a reading - not to say it is certain & happens every time, but just be mindful). Mostly every reading has been respectfully accurate, so not any real reason to discredit it's efficacy - there have only been 1 or 2 readings in roughly 4 months, that were only a fraction out of calibration (quickly rectified). In conclusion, this is a fantastic product, that is incredibly cheap but also of such a high-quality, almost premium, standard, that it seemed 'hard to believe' in it's entirety, at first, but, I can say for certain that these are an absolute bargain of a deal! They are the only scales I will ever need from now on... seriously, a great bit of kit! ***(UPDATE)*** I have noticed that the brand-new batteries did NOT last very long at all!.. I had hardly used the scales - maybe once-a-day for about 2 weeks and then once every few days to once a week/month, for a out 3 months - mostly not even used and only used for approximately 1 minute (Max.) each time (including calibration) - and only synced to my phone at the start and then 3 more times... The batteries just died very quickly, with minimal usage, which is odd as I have devices that use MUCH more power + are still being used now! (Duracell)... ***

Awesome scale, works perfectly. Obviously the BF% and BMI calculations might not be 100% accurate but I believe they give a really good idea of where your range is. I've never had calculations be drastically different from one another. Setting it up to your phone is super easy too, just download the app, open discovery, and step on scale! The scale automatically will update your app whenever you weigh yourself and you can actually see your progress as you lose or gain weight. For the price point, nothing really beats it. Similarly priced scales don't come with 1/2 of the features this one does. I think these should be the default scales anyone buys from now on! Thanks Renpho!
