Lock & Lock HPL714F Rectangular Storage Container with Flip Top Lid - Clear/Blue, 4.3 L

I was buying 450g boxes of Kellogg's cornflakes as the box fitted onto the shelf and I am not feeding a family. They recently increased the amount to 500g and also the height of the box!! I did plenty of research into finding an airtight box that would fit 500g of cornflakes and there are plenty out there that don't. I was pleased that lock and lock did as I have plenty of this brand in my home. It fits perfectly onto my wall cupboard shelf. I have seen where some have have said that it is not easy to pour cornflakes from the opening. I have not had this problem as tilting the box to the side instead of upside down releases them easily. Very pleased with the sturdiness and dimensions of this product and would recommend.

Fill this about once a week, really high grade product. Not cheap, but you won't be disappointed with the quality....

I bought this large container for my small dog food. It seals well, pours easily, as I would have expected from a lock n lock container. It is marketed as a family size cereal/ storage container, but works just as well for very small dog food biscuits. I was able to fit 2kg of food in one container. 😀Container is wider and much taller, so suggest measuring your cupboards first. Very happy with purchase have ordered more in other sizes for rice and pasta storage. 🙂

Keeps stuff fresh, but if you are using it because of large cereal boxes beware this is tall = height to a 750g boxIt takes 750g of Frosties or 500g cheerios (bash the contents and shake you can just fit 750g minus one bowlful ie pour a bowl then fill container) or 2 x 500g boxes of ready brek (the stuff statics to the packet so if you don't need ready brek in a container do not bother)Opening small, you have to keep tipping back and forth to get majority of cereals out. Ok if your training kids on portion size, frustrating as an adult. (I have kids so bought 3 of these). Otherwise I would have bought the squarer front flap ones.pros Fits in the dishwasher ok. No plastic smell nor taste like other cereal containers cause.cons What would make this better is a choice of large or small holes to pour from and not so tapered to fit more in.If you are looking for a one hand pour warning its hard to hold and pour with one hand due to width and weight.as most freezers are below -4 I'm not sure of its ability for freezing in it, and its too large for a microwave so them stats on this are pointless.4 stars - as soon as the kids don't need them they are redundant, frustrating for adult use if contents are bigger than a grain of rice.

I have found recently that in the shops it is very difficult to find large storage containers suitable to hold large bags or boxes of cereals. They used to sell large containers 40 odd years ago which were supposed to be for cereals but they weren’t airtight and more recently all I could find in supermarkets were smaller ones. Anyway, this one is perfect for me although it is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

I bought this container to store cereal, mainly cornflakes. Unfortunately, although its a great container, shaking the cornflakes out of the hole at the top is useless as they just get stuck in the opening. I have to constantly upright it and tip it down all the time. I am keeping the container but may use it for something else and start looking for a different one for my cereal. I can sat it us typical lock and lock standard. Very strong and well made. I have not tested it to see if it as water tight as they claim as it is intended for dry goods only.

Perfect container for dry cat food. About the size of a regular cornflake packet, so sits on the shelf next to our cereals. Yes it tapers to a slightly narrower base , but i knew that from previous purchases and from the dozens of Amazon reviews describing it....so no excuse to be surprised by that! Seals tightly, pours easily, tough material and all Lock & Lock products last for years - so pay a little more for the authentic brand, not a cheaper copy.

Noch nie konnte ich so sicher sein, keinen "Mist" zum Aufbewahren von Nahrungsmitteln zu benutzen.Dieser Hersteller hat mir doch tatsächlich auf Anfrage Zertifikate und ich weiss-nicht-was-noch-alles bezüglich enthaltener Stoffe usw. bereitgestellt, obwohl er dazu nicht verpflichtet wäre. Auch sonst drückt man sich nicht vor Endkundensupport, obwohl es keinen Direktvertrieb gibt. Im Gegenteil! Was für eine positive Ausnahme auf dem Markt!Die Container selbst sind etwas arg hochpreisig, aber: sie sind wirklich dicht, haben ein enorm grosses Volumen (sind deshalb zeitweise schwer zu bekommen) und eine effiziente Form, standfest, und ohne die Designfehler von manchen anderen Produkten, die eine vollständige Befüllung nur erlauben, wenn man bereit ist, bei der Entnahme zu kleckern.

The product is good, and works as promised. It is a bit on the costlier side, but the cheaper ones that I tried weren't as good. So, I am sticking with this.

Super pratique pour les céréales. Un gros paquet de 600g y rentre sans soucis. Bien étanche et hermétique. L'ouverture ovale est parfaite pour servir directement sans avoir à ouvrir la boîte. Se nettoie bien à la main sans laisser de traces de gouttelettes d'eau après séchage. Une bonne marque solide qui résiste au temps. Le prix est a mon sens un peu élevé même si la qualité y est. Je pense en acheter une seconde si promotion il y a un jour.

Es estanco. Es de polipropileno. Da muy buena sensación. Lo compré porque quería un recipiente estanco alto. Y este al menos en los primeros uso lo es. La relación calidad precio sólo la dará el tiempo pero la sensación es buena.

Qusti contenitori della Lock & Lock si sono dimostrati ancora una volta probabilmente i migliori nel loro genere di prodotto grazie alla concezione della tenuta stagna con guarnizione di alta qualità. Ottima la forma del contenitore nonchè la facilità sia di chiusura che di apertura e quindi di conseguenza la sua tenuta.
