Seymour Duncan JB Model™ SH-4 Jazz-Blues Humbucker Pickup

I've bought a lot of pickups from 3rd parties who are cheaper but claim to sound the same and now I've made the comparison they sound similar but these are Iconic pickups for good reason. The JB is the sound you hear on the majority of rock music throughout the era's. Ironic that the JB stands for Jazzy Blues. Installed these in the bridge position of my Ibanez Iceman along with the 59 model in the neck. Expected to pay more for such a great sounding and branded pickup. Sounds awesome. Its clean and punchy when needed and rocks like your grandma on valium. Highly recommended.

Like the title says! I got my guitar back from the guitar store yesterday and when I played it all I can say is wow! It is such a good sound. I totally recommend this if you are a lead guitarist. It has a really good tone to it. It is so much better than the garbage stock pickup my guitar had before! I got my floyd rose strat customized with this and I am so happy with it!

I modded my Mustang, removed the crappy humbuckers, and added a single one of these. Awesome, high output, great for distortion/overdrive! My Mustang is now a Punk Rock/Grunge machine! lol Not cheap, but well worth it.

Installed in the bridge position on my Epiphone G-400. Pretty easy to fit if you can handle a soldering iron. Great pickup clean or overdriven. So much better than the stock pickups.

This in my opinion is the worlds greatest pickup. Better than all the legendary Gibson PAF bridge pickups? Yes. Extremely versatile and coupled with the Duncan Jazz SH-2N in the neck you have a perfect mixture.

This pickup was very used, scratches over the pole pieces, but thats all superficial. The biggest issue is the screw holes were threaded to the point they no longer take and the cable has broken wires. All in all I with I'd have bought new. Cost me more in extra parts and time to correct it and its still ongoing.

The SH-4 JB is a legendary pickup for a reason. It delivers hot, aggressive tones with tight lows and clear highs, making it perfect for rock and metal. Great sustain and dynamics, and it really shines for both rhythm and lead playing. A reliable go-to pickup that never disappoints.

Il pickup JB SH-4 ormai è un pickup affermato ed in produzione da più di 30 anni: questo significa che Seymour Duncan ha indovinato esattamente la costruzione di questo pickup. Ho acquistato questo pickup molte volte in quanto l'ho installato su molte chitarre sia Fender Stratocaster che Gibson Les Paul che Yamaha , Ibanez, Jackson e altre con molto successo proprio perché pur essendo un pickup ad alto volume di uscita è molto versatile e utilizzato per generi rock, hard rock ma anche per suonare generi pop ed altro ancora. Buono l'attacco delle note e buona la gamma bassa riprodotta. La sua resistenza in ohm è di circa 16 Kohm e può essere utilizzato anche in modalità single coil "splittato" in quanto ha 4 cavetti di uscita per i vari collegamenti e le varie opzioni di suono. La modalità single coil è molto bella e permette ulteriormente una versatilità di utilizzo. Consiglio moltissimo la scelta e quindi l'installazione di questo pickup per chi vuole ottenere una buona resa in volume senza perdere la qualità di suono con il vantaggio di ottenere moltissima versatilità di utilizzo.
