Lovely paper for watercolours and Acrylics.

Great sturdy paper for all types of artwork. Rugged takes water well doesn’t buckle. Nicely white too I liked it. Faber Castell makes great art products, a reliable art company

Lovely thick paper, and I have had some fun experimenting with drawing on this! Initially I was upset it is a ring bound sketchbook. The photos were not clear on this, however if I had read the description properly I would have seen that it did say it was ring bound! (duh!) I don't like ringbound as I loose some of the A3 size, plus it isn't so easy to remove as gumedged sketchbooks, but that's a minor issue and not why I have removed a star. The paper is lovely and thick, I do love a nice thick piece of paper to work from! The star removal for me is purely because it is so toothy! It wasn't too much of a problem with using the markers to do the light painting style drawing I have attached, but for the silhouette of the F1 car, where I used pencils, it was horrible! Far too toothy and I spent most of my time trying to fill in all the black gaps to make it look more "real", but I was left disappointed. I guess I will just have to do light painting style drawings until I find a smoother black! But the texture is personal preference and doesn't take away from the quality of the paper :)

My new favourite paper for coloured pencil work. Just enough tooth, nice and thick and I love it.

Mixed media pads are always perfect for me. I use a variety of mediums for doing character designs and fanart. The paper quality is perfect for me and the fact that it is spiralled is a definite for me so then I don’t have to worry about pages falling out and needing to put them somewhere safe. The only thing that I’ll complain about is that the picture does not match the product that I got. What I recommend is to update the picture to match the pad. Other than that very pleased with the item and going to use every single page of it.

Love Faber Castell products. This book contains almost black paper, nice and thick, and a joy to work on. I used white water soluble graphite and it took it very well. Really good value for such quality. Would recommend.

A really high quality pad. A good finish with art work.
