this is the one to buy!
arrived today and immediately tried it out on a curving cut that was angled to 25 degrees in hardwood that a scroll saw could not manage. this little tool performed superbly producing craftsman quality cuts with ease. I had thought that these tools were limited in what they could do, but this has dispelled that thought completely. it was actually purchased to remove some plywood that is secured under some trim, having seen it in action I now have no concerns about performing this difficult operation (actually there is no other tool that could accomplish this task). other reviews have said it is quite noisy, I would agree with this and would also say that wearing gloves when using is also essential as it produces lots of vibration.I am really impressed with this, the price, build quality and range of attachments are superb. I would recommend this to anyone.

Power corded occilating milti-tool
I bought this multi-tool to help finish my project, and to be honest it's a great peice of kit if used carefully-its precise and does linear cuts such as plywood, though you need to let the tool work and don't force it or it has tendency to scorch, plunge cutters are brilliant and the sanding application is very effective-I sanded down an oak set of drawers that had "blooming on the finish-it made a lovely job and finish was very satisfactory!, haven't used the grout cutter as yet- the variable speed is a bonus to this tool,my only downside really is the blades do blunt quite quickly, so let the tool do the work and don'tforce the cuts on the low setting, high setting it cuts like a knife through butter- on a whole ,Value for money and I would recommend this product and seller-Thankyou 😊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Second Fave Tool!
I have virtually every powertool available, from drills, to saws, to planes, to routers, etc, but what I've never used before is a multitool, mainly because I've never had a task that requires one! This changed recently though when I needed to cut out a portion of skirting board for a unit I was building, but without removing the skirting board from the wall (see pic). I'd heard about these tools, but wasn't really expecting much - I couldn't work out how they could cut cleanly without any type of sawing motion! How wrong I was though - this thing is brilliant!I couldn't believe how powerful it was to begin with - sounds like a jet engine - and I couldn't believe how straight it cut without any sawing motion required at all. Just press against the material you're cutting and it glides effortlessly through.I have used it for all sorts of different jobs, including cutting out coving in-situ, and a tricky under-sink job where I couldn't get a normal tool in to cut the required hole. There is a selection of different attachments (you can easily buy spares when required), and plenty of cord length for the average job. This is now my second-favourite tool out of every tool I own... I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase, especially considering it's not even a top brand and didn't cost much at all!

DOES THE JOB
I purchased this many months ago in preparation for my bathroom, i wanted to remove the existing grout from between my tiles and re-grout the bathroom. There is nothing within the box / literature that gives you any advice on the tools [blades] included as to what their intended purpose is, though you can logically work out most. But a little research on line pointed me in the right direction and as i had read blades wear quickly i purchased spares in preparation. Now the unit itself is very much like a 4"/4.5" grinder to hold and look at, i strongly recommend the use of goggles , dust mask and ear plugs. Because when being used this unit is quite noisy [just like a grinder is noisy] and does create a lot of dust but then that is only to expected as the job i purchased it for would be dusty anyway. Removed grout very quickly indeed but just have to be careful not to catch the tiles as this machine and it's blades can damage them if used recklessly. But it did a great job for me, dug out and re-grouted a bathroom wall in a few hours. A longer cable would have been helpful as when you are working at the top of the wall close the ceiling the cable does not reach the floor so you are also lifting the weight of an extension socket unless you can raise it up and place it on bench which is not easy in a standard bathroom [a board across the bath helped me cope with that issue]. it has allowed me to do what i wanted quickly so i am more than happy, just a shame the noise cannot be reduced. Hand/Arm vibration would be an issue if using this unit for extended periods but for home use this should not be an issue. For industrial use you would need to be very wary of this in respect of H&S requirements.
