What can I say, its a good quality eraser but was smaller than expected. I really like the shape and how it holds in the hand. Hopefully no more smudges.

Incredibly Amazing!
Th erasers by Derwent are more effective at erasing pencil marks on paper that even the Faber-Castell 'Sleeve'. Tonight I scribbled my 2B pencil across a page in my journal and the Derwent eraser (the greyish one) erased the pencil mark completely away, whereas the Faber-Castell though good was nowhere as efficient or effective.I was utterly amazed!So 5 Stars for Derwent! Their erasers outperformed by once favourite Faber-Castell.

Nice to hold, the points are very useful (no need to muck about shaping messy and sticky putty rubbers) and they will erase graphite, charcoal or pastel. They can erase leaving thin white lines or smudge in broad strokes depending on how you hold them.Be aware that these are proper old-fashioned real ‘rubber’ rubbers, so you’ll need to clean them after use (rub on a scrap of carpet) and between rubbings if you’re erasing charcoal. Small bits will roll off, unlike some modern ‘dust-proof’ polymer erasers, but then they’re only really good for graphite and won’t manage all the jobs these can do.Best recommendation I can give is; I’m an artist, and these are always at the top in my little box of erasers.

really well made and nice to hold.
Great, but I got them to rub out my charcoal drawings. Sadly it's really tough to rub out, even though it states it does rub out charcoal.But really well made and nice to hold.

Usefully shaped erasers
When you're working on a base drawing for your next art project, this shape is very useful as you can focus on the misdrawn lines and not continually have to rub the eraser all over unnecessary chunks of the paper you are using.
