After looking at thousands of cables, I bought this one to connect my old second monitor. Before buying the cable, I didn't know anything about connections; now I'm an expert. The cable delivers what it promises. The one of almost one metre is enough. It's plastic, but it looks very sturdy, both in the cable itself and in the connectors. connectors that, by the way, are gold-plated.
