SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo & Conditioner

Oh, I was so excited to try this product. My grandson uses these and he has the most beautiful large healthy curls! His hair is very thick. But, my hair, although naturally curly is very thin and fine. I did not receive the end process as I had hoped for. I have to say I would most definitely recommend this product, although I did not receive the results I had hoped for, my hair feels so much healthier and softer than before.

Works really well on wavy and/or curly hair. Gently cleans and moisturizes hair. Nice smell. Good price

Excellent product. Maintains hydrated hair and smooth curls. The conditioner can be slightly challenging to dispense at times with use, but overall, it is highly suitable for both personal use and for children with curly hair.

Smells good, not as much slip as I thought and conditioner is very watery I was a little bit surprised. Just started using this product. The gel gets very dry and flaky which I don’t like and I try to add the products together. Maybe I’m not doing it the right way but it’s OK so far. After I’m finished using this, I probably will not buy replacements

This product is very creamy and soft on my scalp and hair. I had the big chop done on me and my hair took well to this sheaMoisture shampoo and conditioner. I will purchase again.

This shampoo and conditioner restored my sons dried up curls. He loves it and it smells so good.

Hair type: 4a/b/c, low porosity, medium density Shampoo: The shampoo has a STRONG smell - not offensive but nowhere nice enough to be so bold. I honestly don't know what hibiscus actually smells like, so maybe it's on point and if you love hibiscus, it's for you. It is VERY moisturizing! It has a good lather and worked through my hair easily. Verdict: The smell didn't linger, so I will continue to use this product. 4/5 🌟 Conditioner: The consistency of this stuff is like PASTE! You need a Kung Fu grip to get it out of the bottle and it comes out in a thin stream, sort of like a shoelace. This is a huge PITA if you have small hands and a lot of thirsty hair. I don't know if it's supposed to be this way, if I got an old/bad batch, or if they changed the formula (as I have seen some reviewers note about their other products after the company was bought by Unilever). Needless to say, this was not a fave - I put it at the back of the shelf and my experience with how it worked was overshadowed by how cumbersome it was to use. I am only using it for the second time because I ran out of everything else. After the first use, I actually stored it upside down, so the product had several weeks to collect at the top of the bottle. I removed the top so I could get more product out and that worked better. The smell is more neutral and it has a good slip. I was able to easily detangle my hair with just my fingers, but that has been my experience with mostly everything I use lately, so I can't say it actually helped but it definitely didn't hurt. I also decided to do a deep condition (saran wrap and heated cap) to get the best possible results for my effort. When I rinsed it out, I was pleasantly surprised that my curls were very defined, uniform and tangle-free. Verdict: I can't with this bottle. There are too many great conditioners out there. If I can find a pump that fits the bottle, I will try it one more time without the deep condition to see how it works. 3.5/5🌟
