Q: Can this be programmed to play as a 6-hole tin/Irish whistle (different fingerings than a recorder)?

I wish I had seen the question before. The whole reason I purchased was to practice Tin Whistle.

Q: How hard do you blow? Is it easy like a recorder or is if more like a sax?

I find it pretty easy to play. I used to play tenor sax years ago and I think it's easier than that. I usually play on the default middle sensitivity. It's way more about pressure than volume. Haven't played much recorder, but best I can recall the Konix takes a bit more pressure. I do find that when I need to take a breath while playing its usually because I need fresh air, not more. The air in my lungs goes "stale" before I run out if you get what I mean. I will mention that if you plan on using it with bluetooth midi, at least with my Android devices there's a noticeable lag. The software can affect this a lot too, some works better than others. Not sure about iOS devices. Wired seems to work pretty well.
