Excellent Optics and Stabilisation
Although expensive these are good value. Optical quality is very good with only minor colour fringing on very high contrast edges. Stabilisation is brilliant especially for people who don't have steady hands - allows you to see so much more detail. The only slight negative is the lack of object lens covers which I purchased separately. Used them for star planet and moon gazing but really bought them for a safari. They excelled at everything.

Best binoculars i have ever owned !
I have purchased several binoculars over the years including Zeiss. All are difficult to use. And the more powerful ones virtually useless due to shake. After reading some reviews i settled for these, a compromise between magnification and size. The very first time i used these for bird watching in my garden i focused and pressed the button and was shocked how after e few seconds everything became clear and steady. The first truly usable binoculars. The 12 x was a perfect choice as it hits the sweet spot between real life performance power and size. I have never used binoculars this much simply because they deliver. The light gathering is good, image very clear and sharp. It would have been nice if they incorporated lens cover and better eye cup covers, there is very slight colour fringing in bright light but these are minor issues. I am very pleased with the purchase and i would strongly recommend them.

Perfect for anyone with senile shakes.
The slightest touch of the stabilising button and all becomes clear! Well made, although I hope the rubber coating will not go sticky after 10 years or so. For the price, the cost-cutting bag for holding them is a tight squeeze with the strap attached, and as for the cheap and nasty thin eye covers that aren’t even joined together…. Say no more!I would have given 5 stars if they has spent a couple of pence more on peripherals.

Great stabilisation and magnification
Bought these for an arctic cruise expedition and they work amazingly well. Image stabilisation is fantastic and the magnification was perfect for viewing the various wildlife we encountered. The IS removes all the shake normally associated with handheld binoculars completely away, fantastic.

Stabilisation-lite. Good for birds. Pretty light
Good for the weight but nothing like as good proper stabilisated binoculars.

Game changers
These binoculars are absolutely superb. They are by no means cheap but the observed images are unbelievable. Not the shortest focal length but for me, that’s not an issue. I’ve used them for wildlife, general viewing and especially astronomy. Venus (phased), Jupiter (4 off Moons) and Mercury earlier this evening. The IS function actually does what is says….. press the button and the wobble is gone. Even without the IS function the image clear and sharp across the full view.If I did have a moan, then the battery compartment opening feels a bit delicate and fragile and the lack of objective lens eye pieces is disappointing.Doesn’t matter though, 5 stars from me.
