Really good pill box
Prompt delivery and great product. Feels sturdy, lettering looks like it will last, great system for grabbing the right box each day. The slide top is a bit tight at the moment and needs two hands to open rather than one but I would rather have that than have it loose and falling open. Don’t think that will ever happen with this because of the way it’s made. I didn’t choose this system initially because I thought the extra pill slot was unnecessary and would make the box too large or reduce the size of the main slots. It’s not the case, the size is perfect. Now I can think of loads of scenarios where you might want to pop an unusual pill in the end slot and I’m really glad it’s there. In the picture, there are six pills in the Morning slot, the two orange ones are pretty large, and there’s loads of room still. The white pills are the size of, say, aspirin, paracetamol and ibuprofen. You could easily get another 6 of the large orange ones in and more of the normal sized ones. But the box isn’t overly huge either, will go in a pocket or bag no problem. There’s even a “window“ on the back of the main box to put notes or a list of all your meds. Highly recommend this system. Edit 3 months later: I am so pleased with these I have just ordered 3 more so that I can do 4 weeks at a time.

The most roomy pillboxes I've seen in a pocket/handbag-sized format
I've tried a number of different pill-sorting systems, and evidently so have the people who manufactured this set, because it solves a number of problems I've had with competing products: First, these are generously sized compartments: I take 44 separate pills and capsules a day, most of which are average-sized capsules, yet I still have room left over. Second, the fact it takes a little pressure to slide the lid off at either end makes them less likely to open in transit and spill your meds. This also avoids the problems of hinged lids, which tend to break over time, get in the way of accessing your meds, and are generlaly less accessible for people with digital dexterity/sensitivity issues. The Anabox organiser's sliding lid and roomy compartment, gives you much easier access to your medication. Third, having a different colour for every day means I'm less likely to forgetfully grab last night's empty container when going out. And fourth: unlike most products of this type, each day's container has a fifth section (alongside morning, noon, evening and night) for "as required", meaning you don't have to put any pills you take variably into one of the other sections and worry about accidentally taking them alongside your regular meds. Getting used to using the product: for context, I have perpipheral neuropathy that reduces sensitivity in my fingertips, and am a bit clumsy in general. So it did initially take me a little while to get used to sliding the lid on and off, because I assumed it would take more pressure than was actually the case - if you put too much pressure on the lid, it won't slide! I think this is a "good fault", though, as when I'm out and about I don't want to remove the lid completely and risk dropping it. Relatedly, while the lids are smooth, the curved back of each day's container has a "bobbled" texture, which is helpful for people with grip issues and makes it less likely that we'll drop the container. One thing I didn't notice at first is that there is a small raised tab on the barrier between the "night" and "as needed" sections, meaning that the lid easily slides four fiths of the way to the right, but needs a little extra pressure to slide all the way off. However, to access the "as needed" section only, you can also easily slide it one-fith to the left. This feels well thought-out, and when you need to remove all the lids once a week to fill the cases, this is manageable enough. The fact the lids can be entirely removed makes the boxes easier to clean and also simplifies things enormously when it comes to filling the compartments - previously I had a set of boxes with lids, and it was taking me over an hour to fill them every week because I had to reach around the lid with every capsule I added. Overall: a sturdy, durable and attractive product, well worth the price. The one change I would suggest is that I'd imagine braille would be a helpful addition for the days of the week and the compartment names, and would not just have utility for blind users, as it would add some helpful texture to the smooth lids. Raising the names of the days/times of day would also be helpful as these seem like they might rub off with time. But at this point, I've been using the set for over three months and am very pleased with my purchase.

Best pill dispenser I've ever bought and not too hard to open.
The Anabox pill organiser is bigger than I expected it to be (this is a good thing). I find having one set colour per day easier than having seven boxes all the same for the week. Several people have said it's not easy to open but if you push down slightly and gently on the slider, it does open easier, plus it does get easier with a bit of use so if you ARE buying this for elderly and/or arthritic hands, fear not - it just needs a bit of use and for them to get the hang of pressing down slightly to open. The extra compartment for PRN or 'as needed' medication is a brilliant idea and I do use it. When all 7 boxes are in the perspex box, you just push down gently on the one at the front and it will lie down, making it easy to slide out. I've given it four stars instead of 5 just because three of the 7 boxes are green (but different shades of green). It would have been better to have one green and a purple and pink, or lilac, instead of three all green. I'm delighted with the pill organiser and wouldn't hesitate to buy another if I needed one. Highly recommended.

VERY WELL DESIGNED
Excellent product, it seems to have been designed by someone who realises the problems about taking tablets. The sections are each large enough for several large capsules and I think would have enough room if it was required to include the storage foil round the tablet too. I like the fact that there is an extra compartment for 'as and when' tablet such as painkillers, though this is no larger than the other sections so potentially may not be big enough but better than nothing (not sure why the morning section is larger than the others but this is no problem). Well made and clinical looking, very easy to take apart to wash if required; I had been worried it might snap broken when taken apart but it seems well made, strong plastic. What I like is that the sections don't come open accidentally in my bag when I take a day's container out of the home, which my old pill organiser used to, it was a very cheap one from the chemist and would invariably spill the tablets out, plus the sections were very small. I had been concerned about spending a lot buying this dispenser but I feel it is worth the money. In my handbag the container, having a curved back, seems compact enough and 'ergonomic' to carry around. It is useful that the containers are labelled with the days of the week, which is reassuring to avoid confusion if there are some memory problems, and also sometimes I am given different dosages of warfarin to take on alternate days so this way they can be set up for the week with no confusion.

Very high quality and I love the look of the rainbow colours. Much better than my old organiser.
