Stiffer and sturdier than other plectrums they do have give and are easily gripped. I really enjoy playing with them and they have become my plectrum of choice having tried titanium and all sorts of composite materials.

Purchased these as part of a 60th birthday gift for my dad who is very keen and knowledgeable guitarist. He now uses these regularly and has commented on the richer tone and comfort of the plectrums. Would recommend for anyone who is serious about accoustic sound. They are also great to give as a gift as they come in a nice tin!

Updated to 4* from 3*. So, they certainly look lovely and are great to hold. The tin as others have said is a bit basic, but perfect pocket size to keep them (and others safe). They are a thick and I dont find it as easy to strum, and better suited for picking. Also could just be my ear for the sound but i cant differentiate between the sounds the picks are meant to give. Certainly would be a nice gift but a bit overpriced. Update - after some more practice you can pick out the different sounds produced. Apart from the price, they are rather wonderfull.

Totally different tone to the synthetic pics. Warm and rounded sounds on a classical guitar. Lovely sturdy feel to them. A must for your guitar bag. Perfect little tin to store them in too! Well worth it.

Arrived on time, nice plectrums but i agree with another reviewer. The tin is different, square, not as nice and the plectrums are just loose in the tin, no foam base. Presentation is important, hence only 3 stars.

Bought these as a gift for the husband and he likes them. Says they're robust, easy to hold and sound nice. He also loves the tin they arrived in. All in all a great buy.

Ridiculous amount of money for guitar picks I well and truly thought - but had heard good reports about wooden plectrums - all true it turns out - in devil may care moment - (I have a lot of these) cut a long story short did the deed with the keyboard and screen in the dead of the night.Great on acoustic and electric rubbish on nylon buy hey your not even really supposed to are you?The wooden texture feels great I find easier to grip and just use tip not so slippery but mainly attack great and sound great. I have enjoyed and toyed with using coins of the realm in the past and it is just too severe but quite good this has all the advantage of that without feeling you are wrecking your strings.Highly recommend really make a difference to the sound but especially the feel of playing with them - love em.

Bought these as have lost the ones I had (plastic and bendy). They are lovely but they have no give in them, found awkward to use as I am a beginner and trying to teach myself through YouTube. Not going well! They are very tactile and I love touching them. I might make them into jewellery. Not for me for learning the guitar but they may suit other people.

Erst war ich etwas skeptisch, warum Pleks aus Holz besser funktionieren sollten als "normale" aus Plaste. Tatsächlich hatte ich eher die Befürchtung, durch die Härte des Holzes eher abgehackt und weniger flüssig zu klingen.Aber: weder bremst das Holz, noch wird der Anschlag schwieriger. Vielleicht trifft auch nicht wirklich das Gegenteil, ich meine aber schon, viel angenehmer spielen zu können. Auch liegen die Pleks angenehm in den Fingern, und weg zu rutschen.Plus: der Klang variiert tatsächlich zwischen den einzelnen Hölzern - und ergänzt das angenehmere Spielgefühl.Ja, sie sind teuer. Aber nach den ersten Probeläufen das Geld auch wert.

Knapp 21€ sind schon ne Hausnummer für 4 kleine Stückchen Holz, aber man bekommt dafür ein echt hochwertig verarbeitetes Produkt.Wenn man jetzt noch beachtet, dass man die Plektren über mehrere Jahre benutzen kann, dann sind die 21€ absolut egal.
