The NEEWER Pro 100% Stainless Steel Heavy Duty C Stand exceeded my expectations in every way. The quality is outstanding—the stainless steel construction feels solid and durable, giving me confidence in its longevity. The weight of the stand is perfect; it provides incredible stability, even when supporting heavier equipment like monolights, softboxes, and reflectors. The boom arm and grip heads are well-designed and hold everything securely without slipping, making adjustments a breeze. The maximum height of 10.5 feet is more than enough for most studio setups, and the versatility it offers is impressive. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with this stand. It’s a professional-grade product that performs flawlessly and has become an essential part of my studio gear. This is the ideal size of C stand if you have a home studio, or your studio has a fairly low ceiling! The Max height of 68" appears to be that of the centre coloumn, as with it fully extended it is over 6 feet high. The holding arm can give an extra couple of feet height if needed. The stand is assembled in seconds, unfold the legs, drop in the centre column and it is ready for use. The grip heads have large & comfortable to use 'S' shaped tightening heads, and provide a positive and very secure hold for the accessories used. The stainless steel is of a satin finish, rather than mirrored, and the foam grip is comfortable in use (not cold!) it looks pleasant enough, but had it been offered in matt black... Although it is very stable even with the grip arm extended and studio strobe / softbox attached, extra peace of mind can be had by dropping a sandbag over the highest leg. This is an additional purchase, and I'm surprised that Neewer hadn't thought of including one with the stand, they normally go the extra mile with their products. I'll be buying a second one in the very near future - once I have found a buyer for the 3 metre C stand I initially bought!

I don't leave that many reviews and normally buy branded kit like Manfrotto or Rode so i have high expectations - buy once, cry once and all that. Having said that, I felt compelled on this occasion due to the shock I have just had when opening this and setting it up - oh my word, talk about "heavy duty"! This was purchased to hold my boom pole and shotgun mic whilst interviewing talent for documentary film work (I also bought the Neewer boom pole clamp for the top of it) and it has blown me away with just how sturdy and well put together it is. I would recommend this very highly for holding lighting and sound gear and, with a sandbag on the highest leg, it's not going anywhere. It comes in essentially three parts, the leg section (which just unfolds and snaps into place), the upright pole and then then the boom arm with two adjustable grip heads. The cushioning is excellent (being a combination of spring and air) so no crashing gear and no nipped finger tips and all of the fixtures feel pretty bomb proof. Very happy indeed! The only negative is it weighs an awful lot so don't expect to be carrying it too far - but it is exactly this that makes it so solid. You can't have it both ways.

This was the main frame for the art work overhead photography. Easy to assemble, very sturdy but not light, it needs this weight to ensure sturdiness.perfect size for what I needed, very versatile, it can be extended quite high . Would recommend.

The stand is perfect, strong and durable. I thought I was receiving three clips and and a carry bag but those items di not come with the order

I will break this down into two parts 1) The ordering 2) Delivery 1) Ordering is excellent with no issues along the information provided by the supplier. Even though this is classified as used, it looks brand new. Ignoring the packaging, the product is sturdy, well built and heavy. Which is exactly what I need to hold my strobe and diffuser. The parts are well made and tough. The turtle base is sturdy, reliable and tough. The large leg can go up and down, thus making it flexible and adaptable in all situations. 2) Delivery notification = 10/10, arrival 0/10. The courier left the package on my doorstep without waiting for a reply when she rang my bell. The packaging was ripped in two places. She claimed that how she received it. Her excuse for leaving it in my doorway "It's safe." Amazan has to do better when vetting these people as the package was not safe.

Almost 1 year using this C stand, and the quality and performance still the same. Really good.

I had bought a Neewer stand for my light and 85cm octobox, but it wasn't strong enough so returned easily via Amazon. Read a few reviews and went for this one. It is great and feels really robust. Exactly what I need, and look stylish enough for it to stay up in my small studio space.

Surprisingly lighter than expected, yet solid. This is is a short 1.7M max C stand which is almost half the norm but exactly what I needed as it fits in a 1M high road case and dissembled all lays flat. Amazing build quality!
