Perfect size, amazing flavor
I started buying Good-to-go a couple years ago just out of a desire to try anything other than the big brands you find in every store. Additionally, altitude sickness kept me from being super hungry, so the fact that EVERY other brand came in 2-serving containers was wasteful for me.So I thought "I love bibimbap, it's a 1-serving meal, and at a solid price". And I will never go on another mountaineering trip without at least 2 of these meals. They're just solid. Now all my friends are jealous because they're slogging through their boring ol' chili-mac and I'm dining like a king on pad thai, bibimbap, or mushroom risotto.I'd give this more than 5 stars if i could

Spicy, did I mention spicy?
It's spicy, like bibimbap is supposed to be. If you're an aficionado of spicy food, you'll be fine. If not, have a beer or a glass of milk handy. When I first had the bibimbap, I was able to tolerate the spiciness. My spouse refused to try it, so I kept the rest in the fridge. When I had it for lunch the next day, it was too spicy for me to eat. It looks a bit of mess on the plate, though there is a good mix of vegetables and rice in the bag.

Way too spicy - to the point of being inedible.
I'm giving it two stars instead of one because I love the real ingredients and wide selection of vegetarian camping meals, but this was inedible because it was so hot. I like spicy foods, but spicy should be flavorful. This is just painful. I thought I might have gotten an especially hot batch, but I bought one for a friend a couple months later and she couldn't finish it either. I've had this experience with several of the Good To Go meals, including the Mexican Quinoa and the Penne Marinara (that one was edible, but still unnecessarily hot!). I'm so disappointed. I was looking forward to enjoying real ingredients and less salt than the typical backpacking meals.

Hot
I really like Bibimbap but does not replicate the flavor. Using the recommended amount of water made it too dry with the rice having a more Uncle Bens texture to it. It lakes the flavor of what I like about the Bibimbap but it has so much spicy heat that it cleared my sinuses. I took 2 bites. I wanted to like it but I just did not like the lack of flavor with an over abundance of heat. I like spicy hot food but it must be flavorful. I might as well just chomp on a chile.

Quality quality
I spend entire weeks backpacking every year.Good To Go is one of the best and the hard to find Bibimbap is a great dinner at the end of the day.I like to liven up meals with add-ons, but this one does not need much, just a spoonful of real gochujung and you can sit by a lake or under the stars with good food that tastes like a Korean takeout.

Five Stars
Excellent service. Taste is good maybe needs a little more water than directions suggest

Spicier than it should be
I grew up eating bibimbap and this was far from what it should taste like. Even more so, it is spicier than it should be. This is uncomfortably spicy and if you’re backpacking and eating this, you probably will be digging multiple holes. I couldn’t finish it because halfway through I felt like I was getting heartburn. Going forward I hope they use the appropriate spice if they want to make this close to Korean authentic.

Definitely a miss for me
I'm glad we tried it out before actually getting on the trails. This meal, unlike a lot of the others by this brand, was a miss. It didn't have a lot of flavor..it was just spicy. So if you like "spicy" as the only flavor, go for it.
