Much better than large size for big thumbs
I've been using large size for over 20 years, they always felt a bit uncomfortable after 10 mins or so because they were tight. The XL size are far more comfortable. They are considerably bigger and longer, but I didn't find it much of an adjustment getting used to them. At first I thought they would fall off, but they seem to stay on great. The pick material reacts well with the strings so it's full sounding, not bright and clicky like some.

Excellent value and easy to mould to thumb
Recommended by several superb guitarists and so bought these. Use hot water for 15 secs or so to mould them to thumb. I bought several and still experimenting with cutting them down a bit to get better action. May try finger ones too....its takes a while to change to these but my nails are awful and tend to play with fingers like Mark Knopfler (I wish!)...

Quality is good, but size is questionable.
These might be a medium sized set for Lilliputians, but for a man with thin fingers these seem to be very tight.

Great picks!
Used L for years. Had to do the cup of hot water thing to make them fit. Finally bought XL. Perfect! Played banjo with plectrum for years with occasional use of picks. During Lockdown I decided to make regular use of picks and eventually decided to buy the XL size. Good move, BUT be aware that the blade is 1/4 inch longer on the XL size. Don't change to this size and rush out to play a gig! Tootle about for a few days and give yerself a chance to get used to the longer blade.

Don't be picky!
Been using the white L pick for a few months, ok but can feel a little tight at times.XL arrived today(alot quicker than delivery date quoted) Very comfy although the XL blade is slightly longer than the L but not as drastic in length difference compared to the brown L coloured pick shown in other reviews.Pretty sure I will adapt to the slightly longer blade with a little practise.Could always file it down i 'spose.Wouldn't worry about snapping strings either using the pick if you take things slow and easy to begin with.

Adequate purchase
Not many things at all wrong with the picks. Definitely got what I expected out of them in terms of quality of the material and whatnot. However I had to file the thumb pick down a fair bit because it was a bit too long for my liking. The picks also feel like they scratch the strings ever so slightly when plucking but that is not a major issue at all and is really the only downside. Would recommend.

Great little thumbpick
More comfortable on the thumb than the 'tortoiseshell' thumbpicks, they seem to be slightly thinner and a little smaller overall which makes for more controlled playing.
