It keeps away most birds
Works - - just ordered two more to add to one for front and one for back bought and used last year. Thing is that you've got to move them to different positions or the birds learn to ignore. Last year the fat ground pigeons stripped leaves off a lovely Flowering low tree till I got a couple of these.

Waste of money
Completely ineffective, waste of money. Arm too short as well.

Great bit for the fixings
Love it but the fixing wire broke when the cord failed. Three days. Shame as it was working I think. Maybe pigeon landed on it!

It’s ok for a while.
Worked brilliantly for a week then the pigeons came back. Moved it to a different location and for a couple of days it was fine, again they came back. After 3 weeks the pigeons didn’t bat an eyelid.Short term works well, long term not so good.

It really works 100%
Our gardener had just finished over seeding the lawn, by the time he closed the patio door I counted 18 pigeons feeding on the newly sown seeds.Horrified at the prospect of wasted time and seed I immediately checked out potential deterrents available on Amazon. The “ Big Cheese-Swoop flying falcon” looked like a probable solution and by the following day, It was protecting what remained of the seed plus the necessary replenishment. To mount the falcon; a 3m length of 15mm copper pipe with a 15mm 90 degree bend on the top of the 3m pipe. Now attach 50cm of 15mm copper - inserted into the 15mm 90 degree bend, thus forming the horizontal. Next, the wire that comes with the falcon is inserted into the open end of the 50cm horizontal 15mm pipe which is then crimped using pump pliers. Finally, the assembled falcon is attached to the hook at the end of wire supplied with the falcon. The bottom of the 3m copper pipe is then firmly inserted into the lawn.“Success”, the grass seed has now germinated and the lawn is looking good. From the moment that the falcon was set to task in the garden - not one pigeon, crow or magpie trespassed into our garden,One tip - the string supplied with the falcon is so thin that it snaps as soon as the wind starts to blow so apply some heavier duty string prior to erecting thqe pipe and falcon. Now that my lawn is green and all of the seed has germinated the falcon has come down.Within several minutes of taking the falcon down there were 3 - 4 pigeons wadding around in the garden.I was sceptical at first when putting my trust into the wings of the “Big Cheese Swoop Flying Falcon”.I wish everything was so simple- 100% successful. The falcon is now tucked away in his box until the next time he is needed..If aayou are having problems with any of the aforementioned birds then I would certainly recommend that you give this product a go.

It's worked
Seems to have worked, I'll probably move it after a month or so, just so the birds don't get used to it.

Bracket is not fit for purpose
With this bracket, it is an utter waste of money. I hung mine a week ago and it came down (neighbours garden) last night - winds 15-20Mph. The bracket snapped as expected with a piece still screwed to the wall. There is NOT A SINGLE CHANCE that this can survive in any type of wind. Mine was situated on a wall surrounded by walls left and right and therefore was only exposed to the wind in one direction.Whilst up, it was effective at deterring pigeons. As such, I have repurchased the item (from a cheaper seller) and a separate bracket (think hanging wall bracket type) as the idea works. Please change your bracket - it is not fit for purpose. Customers - do not hang with this bracket. The birds wing snapped - possibly from hitting the ground when it snapped away from the bracket, so you will be wasting money using this bracket.
