good for short arses
only a short arse myself so this extra little bit of height is a great help, its light weight to carry and sets up in milly seconds. it is a bit on the flimsy side and could be a bit sturdier. but i like it, it give the height to reach jobs

Just the job
I wanted to do a few bits of filling in my ceiling but hate having to wrestle with my giant heavy stepladder just to get an extra foot of height, so I got this instead and it's ideal.I feel nice and safe when I'm on it and for some very strange reason it smells of strawberries (bizarrely) I don't think this is a product feature but it gave me a chuckle and is nicer than the usual gross factory smell of most of the stuff I buy. It's very flat when folded so storage isn't a problem. Just a word of caution, mind your fingers when you fold it up, especially if you get this for a child, as it gave me a nasty pinch the first time I did it.

Sturdy little thing
Sturdy little thing. Easy to open up and use. Feels very stable under feet. 22cm high so not huge but enough to reach the things on the top shelves of kitchen wall cupboards. Wife likes it. Nice bright red colour so won't get lost.

Stool broken within a couple of months
Step stool was working fine when we first bought it and had no issues. However one day the top of the stool cracked when it was being used and is now unusable. No-one over 12 stone has used this step so very disappointed it did not perform as expected.

poor quality
Although this product was useless for what I bought it for, I discovered almost by accident that it was perfect for a different purpose. I bought it simply to reach the electricity metre while I updated the key but found that it was way too small. Then, I discovered that it was perfect for use wedged between my sofa and my coffee table so that I had something to rest my feet on while using my drawing board. I'd been struggling with this problem for some time as the weight of my feet kept pushing the coffee table away from me and it was driving me nuts! So finding it had another, vastly more important use, I was really pleased that I'd bought it. However, the original problem remained, how to reach the metre box? (Anyone else know why they put the damn thing so high up that people practically injure themselves trying to reach it??) Anyway I discovered that this stool was far smaller than I expected it to be, and that metre boxes are only reached by those who are either extremely tall or those who practice levitation. Also, this product has had very little strenuous use, yet last night while I was standing on it simply trying to read the metre, the damn thing collapsed with me on it! I was lucky not to hurt myself and I scared the hell out of the poor cat who shot through the cat door with all the speed and intensity of a heat seeking missile. And I know what you're thinking - and I am most definitely NOT that fat, I prefer to think of myself as Rubenesque... and curvy... in all the right places, really... I am, i really am... :3 However, when it comes to it's advertised use, i.e. 'sturdy', then I would be inclined to say that it is not sturdy at all and is pretty much useless for its intended purpose: i.e. standing on it. So if you're looking for something that is actually sturdy, then I'd be inclined to give this a miss, but if you just want something to rest your feet on, that is fairly cheap and packs flat out of the way, then this is probably just what you are looking for.
