VERY GOOD PRODUCT AT AN EXCELLENT PRICE

In a perfect world, if I were not ill, then I would practice 100% organic gardening, and not use these types of products however, I have to do whatever I can to help myself.....so, last year I bought the hose and this fertiliser. Before this, the garden got about one lot of fertiliser per year as hauling a watering can around made me so ill. This system is absolute genious! You have to buy the dedicated hose end for your hose Miracle-Gro LiquaFeed All Purpose Plant Food Starter Kit then you screw the bottle onto it, select your setting of water stream, and you're away! I wished I had bought one years ago! The result was amazing! A huge difference in both size and the amount of flowers. The added bonus is if there are certain things you don't want to use fertiliser on, then you just flick the switch, and turn the fertiliser feed off, and you've just got water coming through! This is handy for may be patches of lawn that are very dry or plants that are acidic eg. heathers, rhododendrons etc. If you want, you can just use the end as a regular hose, but it is much more controlable than a normal hose end as it has the different settings. The only wee disadvantage was that the 2-pack that I just ordered was leaking when it arrived, and had leaked all over the invoices, 3 other items and the box that the items came in. It was leaking from underneath the seal that goes around the neck of the bottle. I haven't yet used it this year, and I am now starting to worry that the special hose end may have succumbed to the frost, as it has been in the shed all winter (only learnt last year that you are supposed to take hose ends indoors for the winter!). The only real disadvantage that I can see, is that this system really is only compatible if you've had some dry weather! We've had an awful lot of rain this year, so the garden doesn't really need any more water, but then that's applicable to most fertilisers I guess. Am planning on trying out the lawn food as well. It works with the same system Miracle-gro Liquafeed Refill Update 22nd July 2014: Despite forgetting to bring the special hose end indoors during the winter(it was in a very damp and cold shed), it has suffered no damage. Put the fertiliser on with it tonight, and it was a breeze. Going to do the lawn with it tomorrow evening.

It works but expensive

As long as you have't got a hose pipe ban it's an easy way to water and feed at the same time, or just water.
