Hello Lady Dee, my name is Alpa and I am the co-founder here at True Veda. Thank you for reaching out with your question. As you encountered, every batch of our products go through testing through independent laboratories. The tests that we do are for things like micro bacterial contaminants, heavy metals and pesticide contaminants. Let me reassure you all of these tests are not done using any type of animals. All of the tests use something called High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). HPLC is a form of chemical analysis and used to separate, identify, and quantify each component in a mixture. It relies on pumps to pass a pressurized liquid solvent containing the sample mixture through a column filled with a solid adsorbent material. Each component in the sample interacts slightly differently with the adsorbent material, causing different flow rates for the different components and leading to the separation of the components as they flow out the column. Glass or plastic container?
