Giant Magnetic Base Ten Demonstration Set

This is a set of magnetic base ten that works really well when children have an idea of what base ten are or used alongside it. It has proved really useful in my teacher training year to represent a concept on the magnetic whiteboard.

I use these a lot to teach maths visually and they help so much. Children are then able to use their own to support their understanding. Just have to watch that my colleagues don't highjack them.

This is really good fun. Could do with 2 more thousands, and 10 more 10's for playing with multiplication tricks - but it's a great way for kids to visualise place value really simply.

I wish I'd read the reviews. The images are very misleading and I, like many others, thought that these we 3D plastic cubes. They are actually 2D (flat) magnetic pieces and therefore a weaker learning tool for children. For what you get, this is bad value for money compared to other sets.

Love these got these to use in the classroom on the board much quicker than having to spend my time using Blu tac to stick up base 10

Very disappointed thought they were soild but only paper/card stuck on to a sheet of magnetic paper. My son has used them once! He isnt interested in them one bit so a waste of my money!

Not as they seem. They are flat - we thought we had ordered 3D pieces. Very disappointing.
