Rite Aid Hydrogel Gel Breast Discs (x12) - Helps Heal Cracked Sore Nipples in Breastfeeding

I was determined to try and breastfeed my second child but the pain and soreness was so bad. I was recommended these lovely little gel pads by a friend, I kept them in the fridge so they were nice and cool and popped them on between feeds. They really helped with the soreness pain and I think they helped the cuts to repair too. I would honestly not have been able to persevere through breast feeding pain without these little life savers. If your thinking of breastfeeding I would buy these and have them ready to use before you get sore painful nipples from those first feeds. As you use them quite often they do last well but could be a bit more affordable as they are a bit expensive. I found these better than nipple cream as that was quite messy between feeds. These are so easy and clean to pop in and out.

I can't recommend this product highly enough. Initially I was sceptical when I was recommended it due to the price but my nipples were in such a state that I couldn't feed or pump for my baby I thought it was worth a try. Within 4 hours of initially putting the pads on I was able to pump with minimal pain, by 18hrs I had my daughter back to the breast. I thought the damage would have taken days upon days to heal but with these pads it really did speed things up! I would and will recommended these to anyone who has trauma to nipples caused by breastfeeding, they have honestly saved my breastfeeding journey! Lovely and cooling effect when initially applied, I have also out them in the fridge for extra coolness when changing the pad. Only started using them less than 48hrs ago and will probably completely stop tomorrow unless any further damage is done. If you have sore, cracked nipples take the change and order them!

I was advised to buy this by midwife after i had my baby. My baby was tongue tied and left me sore, bleeding, cracked and macerated nipples. I used lansioh cream with healing but the nipples used to still stick to breast pads or my bra and prevent healing. I found these products invaluable. The gel pads are so lovely and sooting and really helped heal the nipples. I used them daily for about 3 weeks. The only criticism is that they say it lasts for 24 hours, however i found the pads stopped being effective after about 15 hours. They are expensive but well worth buying for any mum who is in pain with breastfeeding.

The pads are fantastic if you have sore nipples from breastfeeding. I was constantly reopening wounds every time I fed the baby as I peeled off a breast pad but these don't stick to wounds so really helped with pain and healing. Only downside is the very industrial smell. I think it really confused my baby and I ended up having to wash a bit before every feed or I smelt like a plastics factory. Another reviewer mentioned cutting them in half to make them last longer which I did. They were still big enough to cover the wounded area.

I was sceptical especially as these are quite expensive but truly - in the first 4 weeks whilst babies latch was bad and we were waiting for tongue tie division and nipples were in shreds, ordered these and they literally just about kept my nipples healed enough to still be able to feed my baby. Without these, truly I may have given up… they’re soothing and cooling, stop things sticking to sore cracked nipples, and the moistness seems to help slightly heal nipples between feeds which allowed me to carry on. Thank you thank you thank you. If you’re hesitating - I promise for me; they were 100% worth it. So grateful that it saved our journey.

Work well, but strong chemical smell and annoying you need to wash before each feed, which can be so frequent with a new born it’s not worth it. Would be better suited to mothers with older babies and more time in between feeds

Was recomended this by a lactation consultant. So much better than the standard nipple cream!

After only 5 days of breastfeeding and religiously using lansinoh gel my nipples were getting so sore, bruised and cracked. Having been recommended these previously I decided to give them a go and within 48 hours of use my nipples genuinely looked back to full health again. They’re really soothing and because they stay moist rather than drying out like the gel does it really does speed up the healing process. It is a bit of a faff having to clean off the residue each time you feed but I kept a spare wetted bamboo breast pad in a Tupperware pot by the bed/sofa for this purpose which worked well. They’re not cheap given each pad only lasts 24 hours but after using the first box up I bought another and quickly found I could go every other day without and now just use them when I feel particularly sore and still not run out at week 4 now as my nipples have adjusted. I would absolutely gift these to any expecting mum who plans to breastfeed!

These things smell TERRIBLE and don’t stay put well, even under a bra. I would definitely pay more for the medela brand which doesn’t have the stench and has a better shape to stay in place.

Très bon produit, qui dans le cas de crevasses aidé énormément en permettant de conserver le mamelon en milieu humide, ce qui promet de ne pas faire davantage craquer la peau. Je les trouve mieux que la marque Medela qui avec les fuites de lait, se tordent et gonflent. Avec cette marque les patchs restent comme lorsqu'on les déballe. Le seul bémol à mon sens c'est qu'ils ne permettent pas d'être coupés comme la marque medela, donc on est obligé d'utiliser le patch en entier (mais comme on le conserve plusieurs jours...). Donc très satisfaite. Je n'en ai d'ailleurs plus besoin, plus de crevasses, ça y est ! Ps j'ai conbiné les patchs avec vea olio

Halten nicht wie erwartet alleine an der Brustwarze! Nur mit Hilfe von BH und Stilleinlagen! Wirkung, hat einen kurzzeitigen kühlenden Effekt!

Solo se quedan adheridos la primera vez q lis usas pero si los sostienes con el sujetador los puedes usar varias veces, yo le pongo un poco de purelan y me van muy bien.

Arrivati nei tempi, usati poco, non ho trovato miglioramenti così evidenti. Forse per dolore moderato avranno una maggior efficacia
