Amazing product
It is an absolutely amazing product that gives that authentic metal look to my 3d printed masks.I used it twice on 2 different masks, its so easy to apply - i used a tiny bit of the product on a sponge and then smudge on the surface i wanted then wiped with a piece of paper towel to take some of the paint and give the look i was after. Cant express how satisfied i am with this product.Other perk of this tiny little tube is that it will do a hell lot of projects as compared to any spray cans or air brush paints.

Amazing Stuff.
Very impressed with this stuff.I bought a framed print from an art gallery that was significantly reduced due to damage on frame. The frame was deep red plastic base with a mottled silver effect covering it, some misplaced tape had removed a large swathe of the silver cover from the frame.Rather than pay £100 for re-framing I used some silver model paint to cover the large patch. It was covered but standard silver paint not nearly shiny enough to match the existing frame.Using just a couple of drops of this from my fingertips covered the whole area. After about 15 minutes to let it dry, i buffed it with a soft cloth and incredibly it's even shinier than the original frame (over buffing - always my problem). For a truly shiny, reflective and hard wearing silver surface this stuff is perfect. The instructions say it doesn't work on plastic, but using effectively a primer layer first it works a treat. As other comments have said, a little goes a long way, honestly just a few drops of this stuff covered a wide area, one coat only needed. I'm tempted to re-do the whole frame :)I've included photos of the 'repaired' frame with a close up on the repaired area to give you some idea of the effect. I hope this helps :)

Brilliant stuff!
I had a large framed mirror that was a brassy gold colour. I painted the frame black to start and then rubbed this on. It was really easy to use, the coverage was excellent and a little really does go a long way, the tube barely looks like it's been used! I can see me using this for lots of other things. I used a bit of old t-shirt to rub it on with, although I did still get lots on my fingers. It washed off easily apart from on my nails which took a day or so to come clean properly.

Use sparingly
I used this to change a gold mirror surround to silver, very sceptical to begin with, but it went on like a dream. It hasn’t quite covered as I imagined it was going to, but the effect which is slightly patchy is very good, better than I had hoped for. Very pleased with the result.

Worked really well
Used straight away on a glass ornament that was tarnished brought it back to life

Fab stuff!
This product is so easy to use and a little goes such a long way. Having changed our hallway decor our old gold framed mirror would no longer be suitable but it was a wedding gift and we didn't want to get rid of it. Got an old cloth and rubbed this stuff into it to change the frame to a silver one. Deliberately left some area's to give it a bit more of a 'vintage' feel and we love the result. To give an idea of how far this product goes judging by how little I've used (just a small dent in the tube) and how much is left I reckon I would have been able to cover at least 15 mirrors of the same size. Would definitely buy again but won't need any more of the silver one for a long time! First photo is how the mirror was and 2nd photo is after I applied the silver rub'n'buff

v pleasing
well, if you can't quite afford the excellent silver leaf paint, this is a great way to turn; had 2 mirrors given me, one in silverfish frame, the other pine with many crevices. This product dealt with the raw pine wonderfully. I prefer to spread on with fingertips (OPEN WINDOW!!! it can hurt back of yr throat if not) - then follow that with a stiff brush to get into all corners etc. Will re-do it tomorrow but it already looks great. I also have the distressed-rub-n-buff, so will use a tiny bit of that; as others have said, a very little goes a v long way. It is astonishing , working with this stuff, to see a v small blob coat the entire side of mirror frame , approx 12 inches wide. Great alternative to silver leafing; I had some real silver leaf and have done a wooden chair with it, along with other wooden items in the true silver-leaf paint. This is far less of a faff and yes, you can see the difference - but it's a pleasant difference, making a more mellow frame... yet it buffs to a beautiful shine. I'm v pleased.
