I bought this as a gift for my grandson!! He absolutely loves it!! Every time we visyhim he gets it out and we have hours of fun and laughter at his imagination!! Really great gift for children

A beautiful looking colourful theatre which seems very sturdy too. Only 4 stars because I agree with other buyers that the design could have incorporated a better way to get the puppets on the stage. As it is I think the back drop will be compromised. I love the curtain winding feature although it is a bit too stiff for children to turn themselves. Very happy overall!

Good toy, although falls apart quite easily when moving it.

This is a well built frame for children to make puppet shows from. It consists of nicely painted wood which slots together and a curtain plus background (two backgrounds in fact). Like most Melissa & Doug toys it is well built, and also as is often the case from this manufacturer it is quite basic. I'm generally a big fan of Melissa & Doug, but feel a bit let down with this. There are no puppets included (not a big deal, but it's not obvious from the box). Two things annoy me more though - although it's easy to assemble / disassemble, I think it would have been nicer if it had hinges or even a bag to put it in when not being used. Secondly, the sides are very thick, so children have to reach their hands in from behind (to the left/right) to reach the puppets in. It's not as easy as it would be for adults and I think it was avoidable - it could have been deeper but with a big slot for arms to reach in from the side.

Received in 2 days during lockdown! Love it! Beautiful bright colours, 2 minutes to assemble!

The theatre itself is nice and for the most part well made. However, it has a serious flaw in its design. The sides and base are held in place by a dowel that runs across the top. This has notches cut in each end. The first time I saw it I felt they looked weak, and within a couple of minutes the dowel had broken at those points. I don't really see any way it couldn't. I'm not sure it's worth replacing because I can't really see any way the dowel could ever be sturdy enough to hold the frame in place.

Lo vi en la foto y sentí que era caro para lo que se veía, pero es bastante práctico, de buen material y tiene su telón con mecanismo para subir y bajar, su escenario de dos vistas y de un material resistente. Lo complementamos con las marionetas porque sin ellas el teatro no tendría sentido. Y da pie a su imaginación

I love how big it is. It’s not too big or too small for a table top. Super easy to assemble. Love the pictures on the backdrop. Only problem my child has with it is using her and puppets with the backdrop. Cause you either need to go under it or through the side of it. Love the red curtain, my child pulls it down when her show is finished. Great buy!
