We bought these sun shades from Venture based on the good on-line reviews. We wanted to replace the previous shades which depended on suction grips to the windows and which did not cover the whole window. The Venture sun shades were very easy to fit, being easily stretched over the whole window to provide a snug fit. We have just used the two shades we purchased on a trip to France so it provided a good test for ease of use, effectiveness from the sun's rays and quality of fit when travelling at high speeds. In my opinion the shades passed all these tests with flying colours. The occupants of the rear seats were kept shaded in temperatures up to 35 degrees Celsius. On fast roads at constant speeds of around 70-80 mph the shades stayed securely in position. When we parked or left the car, it was very easy to remove and re-fit the shades. Although I cannot comment about the shades' durability yet as this was only a recent purchase, I would have no hesitation in recommending them based on performance so far. I have recommended that our daughter and son-in-law to get some for their car. The items arrived quickly, ahead of the expected delivery date and were suitable packaged. A good purchase providing good value for money in my opinion.

I've had this item for a couple of months now and feel now is the best time to review it. They were easy to install as they fit over the door frame like a cover. The sticky Velcro pads don't hinder the door from shutting and hold the sun shade firmly in place.They can be easy removed to wash as they seem to have caught a few flies but they allow the window to be rolled down to let air in while protecting my child from the sun and the previously mentioned flies/bugs from getting into the car.One of the shades has frayed along the seam a little but it hasn't affected the performance as it just seems to be cosmetic damage to it.I will say that due to the need to block as much sunlight as possible they do restrict your ability to see out of the back windows, it is possible to see, it is just a lot more difficult.Overall a fantastic product especially for the price and while there are a couple of slightly negative points these are FAR outweighed by the positives

Bought this product to go on our 2 series gran tourer rear windows as our kids love to pull the stick on ones off. This product has a simple sock design that slips straight over the open door frame.So far we have had no issues with the product. The material feels strong and durable. Also the shades dry very quickly. The product seems to block out a lot of direct sunlight as intended yet the view from inside the car is not restricted too much and I am still able to look through from drivers seat whilst parking etc.The kids have of course tried to play around with them and move them up the door but whilst the doors are closed this hasn't seemed to be possible yet.I have found though that the side of the shade nearest to the door pillar seems to not go quite as low on the window as the far edge of the door approximately sits around half an inch higher to one side. I have put this down to the slightly acute angle of the door frame and the elasticity of the shade which pulls it upward slightly. This is only a minor issue though and I think unavoidable for a universal product like this. Overall I am very happy with my purchase, a great price and practical product.

Very happy with the shade - you get two which makes me extra happy. Works just as well with the window open or closed, which is great as you can let the breeze in and still get the shade. It fits onto our Citroen Xsara Picasso. I think it would fit better if there was something to hook it onto on the inside of the car, but we don't. However, if you hold it down on the outside and then close the door, the shade stays all the way down instead of slipping a little, which can happen it it is trapped in the door. Very happy with it, and have recommended it to friends and family.

Not happy with these as fit over the car door and are no good in the Welsh weather and the rain seeps in, I bought these mostly hoping for privacy and security to hide my fishing tackle from prying eyes

Do not purchase! When I took it out of the packet and touched the product my hands were black, I then noticed the packaging in which it came in was black and stained, I didn’t dare put this on my white car incase it stains the paintwork. Requested a refund on this one I’m afraid!

Good quality and easy to fit

Excellent product. Easy to fit. Does the job.You need to take a little more care when checking your blind spot (to the extent that you look through the rear passenger windows to do this when looking over your shoulder) as the shade is quite opaque and obscures the whole window. This is exactly what is needed to keep the sun out but does cause an extra blind spot obstruction to be aware of.Still the best window shade we've had for the kids windows though.
