BRILLIANT it dries a weeks worth of washing (single bloke)
So, as a single man, this is ideal to dry my work clothes for the week. It’s not “fast” but it doesn’t shrink your clothes like tumble dryers tend to. 3 hours (40 pence of electric) and it’s all done - the timer function means you can hang the washing up, set the timer and go to bed ! BRILLIANT !!! Get up next morning, fold the now dry clothes and job done ! The timer and the economical use of electricity are the main bonus points, the small amount of heat and the fan works well, hence the tiny amount of power used. The fan blows the heat and water vapour out of the vents in the top so the washing always smells fresh and not damp - 10/10 !!UPDATE !!12 months on ... and it’s been a Gods send !!! I cannot rate this highly enough ! It’s BRILLIANT !! For less than a McDonalds coffee I can dry a weeks worth of washing. Now depending on your detergent it can smell like a spring meadow or wash with some “power” detergent and boy it smells the house out as it dries out ! It’s LOVELY !!!!!I can’t give more than 11Out of 10 but it should get 12 !!!!!!Amazingly efficient and quiet, electrical efficient and I can’t buy a better dryer on the market today !!!

Amazing!!!
I don't leave reviews quite often but feel that I really have to with this product. I absolutely love it! The only annoying thing about it is the fact that I never knew of this product before - it would've saved us lots of money during cold/rainy/winter months when you just can't dry your clothes outdoors. It would've saved us lots of money having to re-wash clothes that starts to stink due to not being dried properly. I am so happy that I purchased this product and that it has an added bonus of a 2 year warranty that gives you peace of mind should anything go wrong with the product. But honestly, even if I do wear ours out - i'd be happy to purchase another! Yes there is a little bit of work involved with it by dividing one full load into three batches of drying (we got a 8kg capacity washing machine). And i do it in 3 batches because the key to it is to not overload it - clothes then only take around 2 hours to dry! So in 6-7 hours - my 8kg full load wash are all dry, smells great and depending on the material, some items doesn't even need to be ironed! Bonus! If you're lazy and feel like hanging clothes on a hanger is too much hard work - then this isn't for you. But personally, I didn't find it a big deal. My main concern was to make sure our clothes dry quickly and gently. We haven't got room for an electric airer or tumble dryer and tumble dryer cost a lot so i'm forever going to rave about this nifty little thing. I've dried king size bedsheets, blankets on this - no problem! The only thing you probably can't dry here is a duvet. Oh and our washing machine has a 1400rpm spinner so it removes a lot of water which works so well with this product. I highly recommend!!

Great value and performance
Very useful and performs well at drying damp clothes in around 3 hours - this isn't a tumble dryer (it uses a lot less power for a start) so don't expect it to dry wet clothes at speed. It is ideal for finishing off laundry that has been hanging for a day to get it fully dry and avoid having damp laundry hanging around. If you have other laundry hanging in the same room on a regular rack it has the added benefit of heating the room to help dry that too.To make the most of the hanging capacity you need an assortment of hangers and I'd also recommend one of those round folding ones with the little pegs on it. You can use that for all your small items hanging lower down near the pole, and then each arm has two hanger grooves (use hangers for shirts and clip hangers for towels). You can also hang light items like tshirts over the metal spokes.I bought this to help with the extra washing for a new baby and it is ideal as small items dry quickly and it leaves them toasty and soft for baby. The noise this makes is minimal, it is a low hum like a fan. It is helpful that it can be put on a timer or just a general on setting. It looks a lot bigger when in use with the cover expanded with air and probably needs about 3ft of square space, but when not in use with the cover off and the arms folded down it can stand in a corner out of the way.The only real negatives are as others have mentioned - it is tricky to construct because the parts really screech when twisted together. The steps to construct it are simple enough but the parts don't connect smoothly. I'm still not sure if the top section is supposed to twist around or not, mine does but it seems secure enough.Once constructed the legs are sturdy - it is top heavy when full of washing but I don't think it would fall over easily. The blue coloured cover is a bit ugly, a neutral or cream colour would be better so it doesn't stick out so much in a room, but if you're using it in a spare or utility room this isn't really a problem.Overall I'm pleased with this purchase, the price is right for the quality and performance.

An amazing product - highly recommended.
This dryer is amazing....if you use it as an extra dryer rather than the only dryer in your home. I am a single businessman, and it's amazing for drying about 8 or 9 shirts straight from the washer, handkerchiefs, briefs etc on hangers. Leave space round them, and in an hour they are all dry. It dries shirts without any creases so no need to iron, and it's great to pop a shirt in there to 'air' before wearing. Also great for drying damp towels. Light sweaters dry well in it as well. I still use my tumbler for drying towels from the washer, and bed linen as it would be too awkward with large sheets etc - ...but invest in one of these and it is a great little extra for your laundry, and all for the cost of a 40 watt light bulb! Not sure of the claim about 10kg of laundry! Think that's a bit optimistic, but use it as I've described and it works well. The timer works well, but it also has an ON constant/OFF switch. Also warms the room up too! All in all, a great product and highly recommended for batchelors/singles.
