These spikes are well made and seem perfectly suited for the intended application. Will be perfect to put on top of fences to deter animals and people from trying to climb over. They are sharp but NOT able to puncture your skin easily - which is perfect. You would have to slap your hand down really hard to make it puncture your skin, so they're relatively safe. They can be split down the middle and made into longer lengths if needed.

Easy to install, your screw to fence. Great product but does not keep squirrels or birds off.

used these as there were lots of break ins along our road. they attach to the fence well and look ok. I think they have also stopped cats coming over the fence as we have only seen 2 cats and that was in the first week of putting them up. previously we had lots of cats visit daily.

No more cats!!! Hoorah. I no longer have to guard the baby birds, clear up cat poo or rescue my bedding plants that have been dug up or flattened by the next door neighbours cats. My next door neighbour was not happy though as she thought that they would maim her cats, even though I explained that I had researched carefully and the spikes would do no harm.Another bonus is that we had a bird that would sit on the fence and squawk loudly at dawn. We no longer get woken up!(Ps When I had a dog, if I had let him poo and dig up plants in the neighbours garden there would be all hell to pay! (Quite rightly) So why do cat owners think it's perfectly acceptable to let their cats do this? They are responsible for a huge reduction in the bird population. Something should be done.)

This product is of course cheap, due to the pricing and the quality. The spikes get the job done, any cats that decide to climb along your fence will not be harmed and usually avoid walking over the spikes. If they do not they simply jump off without any injury. People climbing in the garden tend to avoid it when they have no horizontal posts to climb back over since they are covered in spikes. Simply nail these in and they will stay there until destroyed.

I recently had a light fold up bike stolen - whilst i was in the house, with the back kitchen door open, the bike was right near my back door and the thieves scaled my garden fence and stole it right under my nose. Whilst i was in an adjacent room....So i installed these on top of all my garden fences where access was easy. Whilst installing it i cut my hand on one of the spikes which hurt a lot so I know the product would be a good deterrant against people scaling the fence again. whilst the fences can be lifted they cannot be lifted easily or without making noise so this gives me some peace of mind. Good value and a basic home safety remedy which was very easy to install....

Useless cats and squirrels just walk over them

Excellent product which you can barely see on top of the fence unless you are close up. Had trouble with pigeons planting themselves on top at every opportunity. This meant that their droppings went down the fence on a regular basis. For the 5 panels of 6ft wide each , bought 2 x packs.Other bird visitors (blackbirds,finches,bluetits etc.) didn't sit up there so they are unaffected anyway. Didn't want to harm wildlife with metal spikes. These plastic ones do the trick and are unobtrusive.So far, so good.
