Brilliant! Long process, but worth it.
Takes time and perseverance, but certainly doable. Looks amazing once finished. No pieces missing, however took extra care when sorting and building. I recommend also buying containers and a puzzle matt. Took me over 30 hours to complete. Mounting to a wall will be tricky, so any advice on this will certainly be helpful. My suggestion for anyone contemplating this?...DO IT!! Start by sorting the pieces by oceans, land, flags, compass etc. Some pieces can fit into multiple locations (especially the edges), attention to detail is key. My only criticism is like previous comments. There needs to be a large sized poster to help with orientation, especially the right side where the box is covered by logo's. Thank you Educa.

The World is your Jigsaw
Love it, but hard going; addictive/compulsive. Bought as a present for my wife ... This journey required a cheap decorating table to hold four foam boards from de Hobby Shop (stuck together with Duct Tape). When this is finished (this year), we will "Mud Glue" & mount on the Lounge Wall .. This is a serious Jigsaw (not all pieces are traditionally cut (male/female: there are spoons fits - you will see) .. educational, fascinating & thank god for the internet ... a magnifying glass was essential (age related) .. No need to run/exercise when you're on this project'

Definitely worth it!
Took us 12 days from start to finish during lockdown, a well made puzzle, very complex, no missing pieces. Would really recommend it, it’s challenging, fun and if you frame it, worth a look from time to time later on. Look forward to seeing it on the wall!

Challenging
Very challenging but nice puzzle to do. Quality is pretty good. The only issue for me is that the picture on the box is small compared to the puzzle so you need a magnifying glass to see the detail. Also the name on the box obliterates part of the picture

Family kept entertained for months!
Final piece going in after 3 months full time jigsawing!! An amazing puzzle. Hard enough to be interesting, but achievable enough if you take it area by area. A great family Activity, beautiful framed.

NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART !!
Having previously completed puzzles with over 9000 pieces , I assumed that this one would be a "doddle" in comparison - how wrong I was !!! As other reviewers have already said , the border , arctic regions , flags etc etc are relatively straight forward and progress can be achieved fairly quickly. However once those segments are out of the way you soon realise 2 very important facts . Firstly , the only reference picture supplied is the front face of the container box in which the puzzle is shipped and is far, far, far, too small a scale to be of any help whatsoever without the use of a magnifying glass . Come on EDUCA , surely it wouldn't be too much to ask for a bigger scale reference picture to be supplied with the puzzle ? Secondly , it soon becomes apparent just how much of the Earth's surface is covered with blue water !! I spent many long days making very slow progress , spending sometimes up to 10 hours laborious hours attempting to make some noticeable progress. After 4 weeks of almost non stop " puzzling " I managed to insert the final piece and have now sealed it with Contractors PVA , mounted it onto a board , inserted it into a purpose made frame and it now occupies pride of place on our lounge wall , and admired by all who see it.

AWESOME JIGSAW
Beautiful jigsaw, thoroughly enjoyed doing it. The quality of Educa puzzles is superb everybtine: the pieces, colours, finish. No missing pieces (but they offer a "missing pieces" service) and it's just all good. Thanks again, Educa, for another lovely jigsaw

Fantastic puzzle overall and definitely worth purchasing and doing! Took 14 days working every day and probably totaled close to ~70-80 hours of time. Piece quality is good, nice thickness, and no pieces were bent, torn, peeling, damaged, etc... Pieces fit together well and stay together, but moving pieces around will cause them to fall apart if you try to pick them up. Text on the pieces is clear and legible, allowing you to quickly place lots of places at least in the general area where they need to go, however the writing on the box is extremely small and very difficult to read even with great eyesight as others have mentioned, but it is possible. A poster would REALLY be helpful on this puzzle. Another thing to be very aware of is that the border pieces all contain a repeating pattern and border pieces will fit precisely with numerous other incorrect border pieces, so be extremely careful to make sure the pattern lines up perfectly or it will waste a lot of time and be frustrating at the end. Even paying attention I misplaced 4-5 border pieces and had to comb over the pattern to readjust them. This is the 1st puzzle I've not started with the border, and instead did the flags, and colored band just inside the border first, in order to have a 2nd point of reference to check that the border pieces are correctly placed and fit from multiple sides. After the flags and borders, I'd suggest sorting out the latitude and longitude lines with numbers as this will really help you place other pieces later by referencing them using them as an X & Y axis grid . Tropic of Cancer and Capricorn lines are also easy to sort out and give more reference points, as well as the mini globes and compass section, ship, and then I moved onto the land and finally the water. Definitely thought I was missing a few pieces that I struggled to find, but in the end every single one was there. Very rewarding puzzle and now the only question is whether to glue and keep it, or put it away to do again someday...
