The Tale Of Peter Rabbit: The original and authorized edition: 1 (Beatrix Potter Originals) : Potter, Beatrix, Potter, Beatrix: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: A little book for little hands - I bought this for my daughter’s third birthday. I think these books are often bought as a special gift and inevitably end up just living on a shelf, which is a shame. She absolutely loves small books and this one is just the right size for her little hands. I took the dust jacket off as it’s a bit fiddly and likely to just get squashed. The illustrations are absolutely beautiful. The language is definitely of its time but there is no harm in children hearing unfamiliar words and the story is clear. This is a current favourite in our household and she asks for it as a bedtime story every day, enjoying it more and more as it becomes a familiar tale. I don’t think we’ll end up with the whole set but I will definitely buy more of these beautiful and well-known little books. Review: Beautiful Collectable Edition - This is a wonderful 110th Anniversary Edition of The Tale of Peter Rabbit to be enjoyed by children and adult collectors alike. The slipcover is cream with beautiful blue metallic foil detailing and the pages are edged in the same colouring giving the book a lovely unique feel. There is a '110 Years' logo in the bottom left corner and intricate foliage artwork on the back and front cover with a silhouette of Peter Rabbit in the centre. The pale blue hardback inside contains the beloved story of Peter Rabbit and his escape from Mr. McGregor's garden with colour illustrations and a Publishers Note regarding the original artwork. There is also a quaint little 'This Book Belongs To' page at the front should this be given as a gift to young children. This is an exceptional collectable edition of this classic tale and I would also recommend the 110th Anniversary Editions of 'Dear Peter' and 'The World of Peter Rabbit and Beatrix Potter' which are presented in the same style with bronze and gold metallic covers respectively.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Peter Rabbit.
Looks good and in correct style and pictured as it should be. Haven't had time to read through yet. my young granddaughter can't wait to start having the stories. She has had smaller books.

What a sweet experience to read it with your kid... The fact that it was first published in 1902 and still children's find it amusing... My kid read it in a go and not left it whole day... This is collectable...
