I recently purchased the Oregon Q515064 Browguard and Steel Mesh Visor Combination, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations. This safety face shield is an essential piece of protective gear for any task that involves potential hazards, especially in outdoor work environments. Here's why I believe it deserves a glowing review. Sturdy Construction: The browguard and steel mesh visor combination is incredibly well-built. The materials used feel durable and robust, providing reliable protection against flying debris, sparks, and other potential risks. The sturdy construction gives me confidence that it will withstand the demands of daily use. Comfortable Fit: The adjustable design of this face shield allows for a secure and comfortable fit on various head sizes. The browguard sits snugly, and the headband is padded, ensuring a pleasant wearing experience even during extended periods of use. Lightweight: Despite its rugged build, the Oregon Q515064 is surprisingly lightweight, which helps reduce strain on the neck and head during prolonged wear. This feature is particularly advantageous for tasks that demand agility and mobility. User-Friendly: Putting on and adjusting the face shield is straightforward and hassle-free. Fits, well, you have to pull it fully down below your chin to prevent debris flying up into the visor.

This is a really great option for strimming or chainsaw work. I used to use safety glasses but they steamed up quickly, only protected the eyes and weren’t easy to wear over prescription specs. This product is relatively comfortable, gives full face protection, is breathable and allows me to wear my regular specs underneath. Easily adjustable too. I had an initial problem because the mesh guard was missing from the box but contacted the seller who forwarded a new mesh guard in the post. Probably meant they made no money from the sale after covering 2 lots of postage but qualifies as great customer service for me. Recommended.

Does a good job.

The steel mesh is strong but light. There are multiple ways to adjust the fit around your head and the mechanisms are very easy to operate (the adjuster at the back is exactly like a bike helmet and after first set up I mainly use that). We tried it with 3 people with very different heads and everyone found it comfortable and easy to see through. I don't think any one would have difficult adjusting it to fit comfortably and securely.

Excellent bit of safety equipment, definitely a must have.

No instructions but application of little common sense and I worked out how to attach the visor. Good protection and reasonably comfortable to wear although not easy to wear headphones a the same time which is disappointing given the need sometimes to muffle the noise from garden equipment. Overall, good value for money and strongly recommended to protect your eyes and face if you are using any equipment that might throw something back in that direction.
