A sturdy, well designed and strong outdoor cat den. I looked at many outdoor cat houses before deciding upon this one. I wanted something which would withstand brutal winters and one which would last. KatDen will do all these thing and more. It took the feral cat (Hamish) a few days to use it but now it is his 'go to place'. With snow, storms and minus temperatures, this KatDen is perfect. It is waterproof, cosy and snug. It is strong and well made and I would definitely recommend this product and this company. It was posted very quickly and arrived in good time. 'Hamish' is now a very content feral outdoor cat (his choice) as this KatDen has made his life much more comfortable and a safe haven for when the winter weather closes in - thank you from a happy Hamish.

This is the 2nd Kat Den as now have 2 cats. They are fabulous and sturdy and weatherproof. As we can’t fit a cat flap these are great for the cats to sleep in until they can get in. They would be ideal for outdoor cats too. They keep them cool in summer and warm in winter.

Brought as we have feral cats, one has sinced moved in but really useful while she made the transition. The other is still living outside. Now have two in different places for her to sleep. Have brought the liner for her too. We have lined the whole of the inside with reflective insulation, added clean sheeps wool to the bottom for extra comfort and then use the liner during the winter with a self heating blanket and she sleeps out close to the house all snug. During the summer we take the liner out, leave the rest in and add a comfy blanket for her to sleep on. Keeps the rain out, you will need to check during the winter for condensation and we change out the liner if there is any dampness. It has Dillys approve and until we can get her to take the leap to fully come in it is purrfect. She never seems to be cold to the touch however we havent had snowy winters and that maybe another thing. Pleased i brought this, well made not flimsy, will need to add some padding to the bottom. Easy to clean. Dilly loves hers.

Wonderful outdoor cat shelter. Placed newspaper /straw inside for local stray Cat whose now enjoying some cosy dry nights. Would highly recommend.😊

It’s okay, it’s really sturdy and definitely waterproof, as the blanket and throw is never damp or wet but …. it’s very small inside, the stray cat can only about sit in it but can’t move about. I wish it was bigger and wider than it is so the cat had more room to move about. I’m assuming the stray cat loves it because he’s using it and is there most mornings but he is a big cat and I wished it was a bit bigger. I’ve bought him another house too.

My cat was a rescue cat and can be nervous around new objects etc. After an hour, she really loved this house and was purring with delight. She is a chubby cat but had plenty of space to move around and feel comfortable. Positives: - super strong and durable (I can stand on it) - Great for outside as it is waterproof and can withstand winter weather - no assembly required, it comes ready to use - I think it’s worth the price considering the quality (won’t need to replace anytime soon) - spacious inside Negatives: - would prefer to choose another colour -it’s a bit slippery inside due to the plastic - a fluffy blanket works well! I never write reviews but definitely recommend :)

Had this since early summer and must say now we hitting winter been a little gem of a hut. Although does get bit of condensation, to solve this I popped their little igloo beds in there with a heat mat. And if they stay out in day whilst I at work, which not often. I also pop a microwave bag in so they lovely a warm. My babys dont go far but sometimes just won't come in least these keep them lovely and warm esp with microwave bags in when it starts to freeze. As we have no cat flap really expensive to fit on my patios. They very strong and stay dry even without a flap. But just a bed found it not a good as the one with the igloo bed in (them I got from B&m) as that covers the whole hut to top, no condensation. My little rescue brother and sister love thiers . Even In the summer heat found them curled up even when patios open chose there little hut x

A near neighbour’s cat has for some time adopted my place as his second home. His owner doesn’t seem to give him much attention. He goes out at night, but I haven’t a cat flap so that he can come in or go out as he pleases. Mr Snug’s cat shelter is a good compromise. I bought it together with the fleece mat but was unsure if he would use it. Well, the day it arrived he spent the afternoon snoozing in it and he also sleeps in it at night. It is an excellent design with a good recessed entrance, is made of sturdy material and is certainly big enough for a fairly large cat. We had some torrential rain showers recently but the inside remained dry. I really do think this is one of the best cat shelters I’ve seen. I do brush the mat every other day to keep it clean and the whole shelter can be hygienically maintained, as it has no joints and seams to harbour dirt. I’m not sure if the mat will survive lot of washing but it does make the shelter more comfortable for him. His eyes and purring say so, and he follows me about more than usual, so I’m sure it’s his way of saying thank you.
