Q: Is there a 'use by' date?

No date at all on the pack I bought, just says "bakery grade" origin "Bulgaria" . But the garden birds love it, and that is what I bought it for !

Hi David. Have no fear re packaging. Seeds contained within a multi-layered, strong bag which is then enclosed within a likewise strong, cardboard box. I have had three deliveries from this firm and have been very satisfied. Regards.

I have NO idea what a croston is. However, I can tell you that my birds thought the sack of sunflower hearts to be absolutely delicious! I should add, so did the mouse/mice in my garage where they were stored. I highly recommend storing them safely. Mine are NOW in a plastic bucket with a safe lid. Hope this helps.

Things have obviously changed as I've ordered this product several times and I've invariably been out when it arrives. The guy just leaves the bag under the front porch and I'm happy with that.
