Ravensburger Puzzle Glue Conserver - Suitable For Up To 1000 Piece Jigsaws

I’ve used it on 2000 pieces puzzle (98cmx75cm) and 1000 pieces. It lasted for 3 layers on the big one and two on the smaller one. It worked brilliantly. The puzzles are up and hanging in frames. Very easy application. Made the puzzle colours more vivid and gave a bit of shine to the finish. After reading some other reviews I would have some advice on the application process. Press the bottle nozzle firmly to the puzzle and squeeze the bottle so a lot of glue pours out. Spread gently the glue. Make sure there’s a big puddle of it before spreading it. Don’t press hard with the sponge as it might cause the paint to rub off the puzzle pieces. Also if you have low quality puzzle, it might affect the final result.

Very easy to use and works

Works very well. I gave two coatings front and rear, it held the 1000 jigsaw together very well and you can’t tell it is applied to look at. Enough left for another 3-4 1000 jigsaws as well

This isn't a toy, well I hope it isn't! If you are looking for great glue that really holds your jigsaw puzzle together this is it! I've used this on a 3000 piece jigsaw and there was plenty left for perhaps another one. It does look very foamy when first applied but it soons dry out and keeps the puzzle intact. This glue will seem through the pieces so make sure you have card or paper below the puzzle unless you want your jigsaw to stick to the table!! Very good prodcut, I would recommend it.

I applied this fairly generously and it did connect the puzzle pieces but not particularly securely. I had thought I would be able to hang it having used this glue but I will need to glue the whole puzzle to some card to do that.

Apply as per instructions, easy to use, I have applied 2 layers of glue to a 1000 ps puzzle and believe I could do another x2/3, sturdy hold- so great amount/size- enjoyable to apply,

I used this to glue together a Schmidt 1000 piece jigsaw. The glue is liquid in consistency and applied using a sponge attached to the bottle. I laid my jigsaw on some waxed brown parcel wrapping (newspaper will probably do but the glue will seep through the newspaper to the surface underneath). Following the manufacturer's instructions I ensured the glue was gently rubbed into all the crevices and left it for one hour. I found the result to be "ok" but added another coat of glue "just in case" . Note, if you've washed the sponge applicator after use as advised, make sure the applicator is dry before using again otherwise all the water retained by the sponge results in a very watery mix. Once the second coat had dried (it dries clear and unnoticeable) I was able to easily lift the jigsaw into it's picture frame. Expect the jigsaw to be flexible - this product doesn't glue it into a solid board. A tad on the expensive side, hence 4 stars.

Does well, the applicator is good and easy to use but find that puzzle needs more than one coat to completely stick together.

Ich habe die letzten Wochen 8-9 Puzzle gemacht. Von 1.000 bis 3.000 pcs- Gerade mache ich viel Disney von TREFL, Ravensburger und vor allem Thomas Kinkade von Schmidt. Der glue and go ist super, funktioniert super leicht und klebt einfach genial. Gerade die Schmidt Puzzle von Thomas Kinkade bekommen so einen schönen Glanz. Man merkt dass der glue and go aber für Ravensburger Puzzle ausgelegt ist. Da funktioniert er am besten, Schmidtpuzzle auch super. Aber bei TREFL, da merkt man die Qualitätsunterschiede der Puzzle. TREFL zieht extrem viel Kleber und Feuchtigkeit, dadurch muss man a) viel benutzen damit es die Fugen füllt und vorsichtig sein, man muss 3-4 mal drüber gehen bis es wirklich fest sitzt, und kann nicht zu viel auf einmal nutzen da sich sonst der Druck vom Puzzleteil löst. Das problem hat man bei Ravensburger und schmidt Puzzle absolut gar nicht.

Cat freaks out and bolts 7. Puzzle flies off the table 8. Puzzle hits the wall 9. Puzzle lands on floor in a balled up heap It held. Seriously. Not a single piece separated. We just picked it up, flattened it out, and that was that. So yeah…this stuff is great. Cats? Not so much.
