Really works, if you don't expect miracles
Pros: Actually works!! Feels nice on skin and provides some extra moisture to dry skin Very reasonable price Cons: None I can see, except maybe some of ingredients, if you are sensitive to them, have listed potential candidates at end for you to check if you suffer from allergies or have sensitive skin. Only other possible con is that it's an extra step to your beauty regime, as this does not replace any of traditional cleanse - tone - moisturise steps (probably showing my age here!) Am always sceptical of cosmetics that claim to reduce lines, lift or firm, as in my experience, none provide any effect instantly, and few over time. But this was not expensive and had so many good reviews, I gave it a try, and am so glad I did. It is first thing I've ever tried that does actually provide an instant effect, and had multiple compliments after I started using it, things like: "you look well today". I also think it helps aging skin over time, as I notice my skin looks worse when I am too lazy to use it. For instant effect, I notice it most around the eye area: it lifts and firms my lids and reduces under eye shadows and bags, also laughter lines around the mouth. It seems to do least on my forehead wrinkles.. I am 58 btw, so I have plenty of wrinkles to test this on! It is gentle enough that I can put it around my eyes, although don't think it's recommended for that, and they do specific eye cream containing similar ingredients, which I have yet to try out. It's not a cream, so you still need your usual moisturiser, so it adds a step to your routine, but is well worth it, I think. Also, the price is so reasonable, especially with subscribe and save discount. It was sold out last month and I was actually really upset - it's only one of 2 cosmetics for which I would find it impossible to find a replacement... Have ordered their Snake Venom serum, too, but not yet tried it. I do not generally have sensitive skin, so cannot judge how this might affect sensitive skin. It says to avoid contact with eyes, but that applies to nearly all cosmetics. Regarding ingredients, I use Environmental Working Group (EWG) to check ingredients online, if I want to know whether something is potentially harmful to me or environment, and if not mentioned below, ingredients are rated 1 by them, so lowest risk on scale of 1 to 10. Exceptions were: Phenoxyethanol, this has rating of 2 - 4, depending on usage: it might be harmful if inhaled (that would be higher end of 2 - 4 rating) and if it's ingested, lower end of risk scale. Polysorbate 20 is an emulsifier and is rated 2. Ethylhexylglycerin is a weak preservative and skin conditioning agent and is rated 2. Tocopheryl acetate is a vitamin E acid and is rated 2 - 3 with some concerns regarding allergies and immunotoxicity. Potassium sorbate is a preservative and rated 2. Sorbic acid is a preservative and rated 2. Linalool is a terpene (likely from citrus or conifer trees and often used as fragrance, I think) and is rated 3, with some concerns around allergies and immunotoxicity. Limonene is highest rated for risk. A scent and solvent made from citrus rind, there are concerns around allergies and immunotoxicity again. I assume active ingredients, apart from general skin conditioning agents, are Carrageenan from red seaweed, Porphyridium cruentum extract, which is red algae and Croton lechleri resin - the Dragon's Blood. Last thing to note, for those who might want to store it longer: it has no Best Before Date. Packaging indicates it keeps 12 months after opening (the little open pot symbol with 12 M on it in 6th photo).

Worth a try
Ive always been a huge sceptic of lotions and potions that miraculously lessen wrinkles and make you look 16 again lol,but because it was so cheap decided to give it a go,and ordered some, with an extra bottle just in case it WAS a miracle cure :) Ive been using it morning and night since I got it around ten days ago,and I have to admit that it is having an effect on my skin. It's a refreshing feeling to begin with when it's applied, but aside from that my skin actually looks a lot better, feels softer, and has a healthy glow.Im almost 69 and though I dont have loads of wrinkles my skin definitely needed something to give it a lift. This serum has done that, dont know how it works, but Ive seen a big improvement in my skin tone, its more supple looking, just healthier, and has given me a wee boost of confidence.I dont feel it tightening, just refreshing ,and my skin is definitely benefiting from it,so Ive ordered another 2 bottles, and I will keep using it .Ive used many moisturisers over the years ,expensive ones, but this has by far given me the best results and Id recommend it to anyone, and by the way this is a completely independant and honest review, nothing to do with the manufacturer or Amazon, just my own opinion,to give credit where it's due .
