Very good, super fast fermentation.
Excellent yeast compared to the normal brewing yeast I've used previously. I brewed 6kg of sugar in a blackberry wine mix. Starting gravity of 1.080 with a final gravity of 0.987 which gave me 12.21% abv. This took under 48 hours as stated, actual time was 42 hours. I had to turn my heater off as it was heating itself up, it hit 35c with no issues! Only downside is the yeast residue left in the wine. It will take sometime to clear, even after I used finnings. My only issue was the frothing, I have a 60 litre plastic barrel and only had 23 litres in it and it still frothed over the top. If your planning on using a 5 gallon fermentation vessel make sure you have it standing in something to catch the overspill. Otherwise great!

Very Quick
Great product, works really quickly. As I put my wash through another process I don't bother to use any clearing agents but it comes out great for me every time. If you are planning on using this to make fruit punch or just to add to a fizzy drink I'd definitely recommend the finings

It's like a magic potion
If you keep the temperature of the fermentation vessel (I use 5 litre plastic water bottles) at the optimum temperature, the packet says you'll get strong alcohol in a couple of days. If you're more realistic and keep it in a warm cupboard, you can expect to get fair strong plonk (12+%) when the bubble stop, in about a week which is fast enough for anyone except, perhaps the most ardent alcoholic!

Saved my batch!
After a rather unsuccessful fermentation of my 6 gallons of stout, before I tossed them away (which would have broken my beginner brewer heart) I browsed the net and gave a try on this product. The (re)fermentation was great, providing a good carbonation to the beer and breaking the sugars to a good amount of alcohol, within 3 days I was able to bottle it. I had read some reviews about it leaving a bad flavour which I was happy not to observe in my end result. It does leave a quite thick yeast sediment - between 3-4 mm - which is natural I guess. Will most probably use it again, maybe reducing the quantity and letting it ferment a bit longer.

Maybe for some
I can't star it really. It simply didn't work for me. Possibly the brew was over-sweetened. BUT and a big BUT, it says on the packet a cooling system is required. I'm not sure it is necessary in cooler places but I don't recall reading about a cooling system when ordering or I wouldn't have ordered on the strength of what it says on the packet.

Does what it says on the tin!!!
Delivery came quickly and was free. The product itself is a revelation to someone who has never used a "turbo yeast" before. Tried making a strong wine with a high alcohol yeast previously and despite adding sugar in stages it stalled and I was left with very very sweet medium strength wine - not so with this. This Alcotec product - which comes with it's own nutrient (hence the large 135g pack) ferments very quickly indeed and is not only alcohol resistant but operates over a wide temp range (even heats itself for the first 2 days fermentation is that quick) and you can add a full load of sugar from the start - so much so that it went off the scale of my hydrometer (this would have surely killed lesser yeasts before they even got started - I estimate it was 1.136, my hydrometer only goes to 1.120). Some reviewers have said not to use when wine making as the product is basically aimed at making a clear "spirit" which can be used to mix or used with flavourings - not sure how the flavour would effect a wine but I'm making a string ginger wine so I think the flavour will be robust enough. All in all if you want quick, high alcohol fermentation then this is the product for you.

Einfach fantastisch!!!
