Fabulous watch and an absolute bargain. My husband's old watch had died and he wanted a similar watch. The Timex replacement would have cost him well over £40 so he looked at Sekonda and found this one. The leather strap itself must be worth £15 so at just over £20 it's a steal. Keeping perfect time so what more can you ask for?

I can't believe this watch is £20! I used to have a £2000 TAG Carrera, which I kept I a draw because I was worried about damaging it. This watch looks better than the TAG; is a perfect size; and tells the time accurately, as you'd expect from a watch!Honestly the best purchase I've made I a long time. You won't be disappointed.

Bought the watch in black and it looks great. I’m a very basic bloke, get up, go to work, come home, have dinner, fall asleep, go to bed and repeat so this watch suits me fine. In fact, the design is so good that it makes me look a little less dull. Only issue is the winding mechanism which seems flimsy so no idea how long it will last. So far, very pleased.

Good build quality. Has japanese movement. After a week it may have been 1/2 sec out at most which i think is good. Its not shock proof but ok for splash of water which suites me. The strap fits fine, i am on 3rd hole from last which is now getting little loose as leather stretching. My wrist size is approx 18cm. Now 6 months on and battery failed. Still happy with watch. Battery not covered by waranty but its an easy diy change for me and the cost very little (battery on mine is a SR626SW or 377). Still worth the money and i would say very accurate.

Beautiful and comfortable watch

I really like the colour and layout of this big face. The hands are rather an odd shape but this makes them easy to read at night. The watch was already set to time and date on arrival. Best of all - and this is not shown in the Amazon advert is that the back of the case is of the unscrewing type with six lugs and I have bought an adjustable spanner for it. I hate the sprung in watch backs as I find it difficult to take them off without scratching them. Now I can easily replace the battery. For the price this watch is superb my only niggle being that the strap is barely long enough on the last hole and come summer I might need to punch another one as my wrists tend to expand a bit in hot weather.I read all the whinging about the second hand not corresponding to the lines on the bezel and noticed this is only if you are holding it up to your face if you glance at it with your arm in the normal raised posture there is absolutely no problem - it lines up perfectly. I think it was designed that way. I also cannot hear any sound from the drive mechanism - perhaps it is too high pitched for me to hear now - I am 72.

Bought as a gift for the hubby, to replace an ageing watch. Easy to read dial, with hands that glow in the dark and water resistant to 50m although he hasn't tested this yet. A few downsides; the strap length is just about long enough for a large wrist and it would have improved the appearance, if a nicer shade of brown had been used for the strap. But overall, a good purchase at a reasonable price. *Update*: after almost 3 months of use, the tanning used to colour the strap is starting to fade.
