Body Sculpture Official Ab Trimmer / Probe with Headrest

Easy to assemble, good quality worth every penny! Started my fitness journey (seriously) a few weeks ago, unfortunately I am on a very tight budget so I do have to be creative in what I can do to help along with toning up and losing weight, for me I go for 1-2hour walks daily, path I take is very hilly really working the lungs and every muscle😮‍💨 at home I have bars to help with push ups and I got this ab trimmer to aid in my workouts. I have noticed a little improvement. I'm very happy with my purchase ☺️

Good quality, easy to assemble, effective and looks good. Brought to replace an aging (26years) AB trimmer and is so much lighter to use and its fine ergonomic design makes it easier to really work your abs. A couple of minor gripes. The trimmer 'walks' when used on a carpet instead of staying in one position and it is not easy to break down and store which is a requirement if you live in a relatively small living space. My old one could be dismantled by undoing a thumbscrew and it folded away whilst this one it would me undoing a number of screws to do the same thing and that is impactable . Overall though, a good exercise buy that should last for many years

Sturdy & easy to put together.

Excellent product, easy to assemble and delivered very quickly, lightweight but very strong, doesn’t fold down without an Allen key but not an issue for me as I use it everyday and wouldn’t collapse it. Very effective on abdominal muscles without the the strain and lower back impact of sit-ups.

Many a long year ago I bought a similar product for myself but one of my nephews took a fancy to it (nothing unusual there I guess). I had always intended buying a replacement for myself and finally took the plunge. I had hoped to buy the same model I used in the past but just could not find it. I settled with this Body Sculpture brand based on the seller's pictures and description, together with some of the reviews. It was easy to put together although the model I received was not exactly the same as the display pictures or the instruction manual. For example, the screws that fix the top handle to the bottom are actually on the outside, not the inside. I did wonder if I had assembled it incorrectly but no, there was only one way these pieces would fit together. The idea of an ab trimmer/cruncher is quite simple. Lie down (a yoga style mat is good for this), head on the head rest, and essentially rock the unit so you move up and down with it. Okay, that is a simplistic definition and there are a number of other exercises that can be done (the instruction book does show these). And that is where my satisfaction ended. This might have looked a near identical product to the one I had previously used in the past and really liked but that is where the resemblance ended. The head rest is like putting your head on a brick! There is just no kind of padding at all. Given the price of the unit, some kind of padded mat should have been included (it was in my own older version) to help protect shoulders and spine. And to move it, to get the "rocking" action, took a huge amount of effort when the whole idea of an ab cruncher is to make the exercise regime easy and fun. Perhaps if a person already has a 6-pack or is very sporty, they would find this quite straight forward but for the average user who is just starting out trying to get in some kind of trim, this is just too difficult to use and a lot of core strength is needed (the one thing most people who want an ab cruncher doesn't have to starrt with). The height of the top handlebar is just too high (and I am a fully grown adult male) to grip comfortably and the centre of gravity from the shoulders to the "curve" in the bottom part of the unit is too far away from the angle of the handlebar - and this is what prevents an easy rocking motion being picked up from the start. Although looking exactly what I wanted - and, indeed, looking better and with better reviews than other similar products - in practice it has proved to be a bit of a failure in terms of its difficulty and lack of overall balance. These are too expensive to just discard and then go buy another so I will just have to persevere or else give it away - not to mention I will need to buy an exercise mat to protect shoulders, sides and spine from hard floors/carpets. This latter should either have been included by the manufacturer since it is essential or else a prominent note should have been placed in the description for customers to be aware of. Easy to assemble, very sturdy even though it is lightweight, but with a solid brick for a so-called headrest, no protection for the body, and a strange length on the bottom section preventing immediate and easy rocking have prevented my giving this a higher rating at this point in time.

Great product, great value for money, does exactly what it says on the packaging.

The construction of the unit is pretty solid but the foam that has been put on the part which you rock forwards and backwards on is too hard and too smooth to grip on any surface and as such as the start the “crunch” motion, the whole thing slides forwards. You adjust it, try again and it does it again. I have tried on a carpet, a rug, tiled floors….all indoors surfaces. The only place it works it outside on a rough concrete surface. I unfortunately missed the return date so for inside use I am going to have to use adhesive 2.5cm wide sandpaper and stick that on so that it works indoors. Good product spoiled by lack of product testing in real life.

Bought this to replace an old model which I donated to a workplace gym some years ago. Seems like a well made strong ab cradle. Fits together fairly easily. However, the bolts holding the headrest seem too short. If this is the case screw the bolts TIGHTLY into the headrest without the tubing in place and leave for a minute or two. If you the release them and refit in the normal way, they should then be long enough. (Trust me I am an engineer) Otherwise it does what an ab cradle is supposed to do.

Der Bauchmuskeltrainer ist aus hochwertigen Materialien gefertigt und sehr stabil.Der Zusammenbau geht mit dem mitgelieferten Werkzeug kinderleicht und ist in wenigen Minuten erledigt. Für Anfänger finde ich diesen Bauchmuskeltrainer sehr gut geeignet.Fortschritte machen sich sehr schnell bemerkbar.Ich benutze ihn seit wenigen Wochen an 5 tagen in der Woche und habe deutlich festere Bauchmuskeln bekommen und konnte mich von 40 Wiederholungen auf 120 steigern. Das mit dem verrutschen habe ich auch festgestellt und lege deshalb auf jeder Seite eine kleine Antirutschmatte untendrunter (Die zum zusammenstecken.2 Teile pro Seite).So konnte ich dies schnell und einfach beheben.Mit der gepolsterten Kopfstütze habe ich keine Probleme wie sie andere beschrieben haben. Insgesamt kann ich diesen Bauchmuskeltrainer jedem Empfehlen der sich erstmal Zuhause etwas Fit machen möchte. Der Preis ist dem Material und der Verarbeitung völlig gerecht.Bin mehr als zufrieden. Beide Daumen hoch.
