Battlefield of the Mind Bible: Renew Your Mind Through the Power of God's Word

I highly recommend this book to everyone. It is power packed with truth and light with scriptures throughout. I was able to give out several at a detention center and the ladies have asked for more. When you become a doer of God’s Word and not a hearer only it changes your life!

Blue Euroluxe Battlefield of the Mind Bible Pros: If you are a fan of Joyce Meyer, having her commentary throughout this Bible is a wonderful thing. This blue Euroluxe Bible is gorgeous. This won’t matter to a lot of people, but for me, it makes me want to pick it up again and again. It is so beautiful, I have it out where I can see it. Cons: This Bible is big and heavy, and a bit unwieldy. This Bible is a lot of money. Too much for me, in fact, until I found a “used” copy—which looked untouched in its original packaging—for an extremely reasonable price in the Amazon marketplace. Years ago, I read almost the entire Old Testament, but it recently occurred to me I have not read a lot of the New Testament, and I decided to get a new Bible. While I do not agree with all of her positions, I greatly enjoy Joyce Meyer’s straightforward manner and humor when I see her on TV, and I settled on this Bible. I was drawn by the fact that it is an Amplified Bible. My understanding is the Amplified Bible has words added to illustrate and make clear things that might be difficult to understand. Amplified Bibles are actually a bit controversial, as some seem to feel they stray too far from the original manuscripts. I am okay with this. I own other Bibles, and can compare and judge for myself if I want. I love having Joyce’s commentary throughout. Straightforward and easy to understand, she offers her interpretations of many, many passages. It is a bit like having two books in one—the Bible, plus Joyce’s commentary on the Bible, which I find fascinating and helpful. This does result in a Bible that is on the large and heavy side. I can handle it, but I am considering getting Joyce’s Battlefield of the Mind New Testament, which will be easier for me to hold, and a good travel book. For me, the list price on this Bible is very expensive. The book is available at a much more affordable price in paperback, but this edition is gorgeous, and I was thrilled to find a pristine copy at a great price in the Amazon marketplace. It took a little bit of waiting and watching, but for me, it was well worth it to save three quarters of the cost. Recommended if the look of the book is important to you! Otherwise, you can save money and pick up the paperback edition.

I've had several bibles over the years but this Battlefield of the Mind Bible is the absolute best. If you are studying any of the Joyce Meyer Battlefield of the Mind resources, this is the perfect companion. And even on its own, it has wonderful (what are coined), "Power Points", "Keys to a Victorious Life", "Prayers to Renew Your Mind", etc., notes throughout . . . nearly every page includes one or more of these words of wisdom. Great resourse for navigating the challenging world we live in. I purchased the pink leather version, and was so worth the cost and the wait.

Bought as a gift. It is so well worded and easily readable. This is a definite buy.

I have read, and own, many Bible translations, so I was very interested in adding this one to my collection. I like reading different translations as I am doing my Bible studies. I have watched, and been inspired by, Joyce Meyer for years. A friend recommended this Bible to me, and I am so glad she did. In fact, I love it so much that I purchased a copy for another friend, too. My only complaint is that the pages are quite thin, which makes it a bit tricky to turn them at times. Also, I do not feel it is possible to write in the Bible, as I like to do. However, I am able to highlight it without it bleeding through the page. My one suggestion would be to have this Bible formatted for journaling, which would include places for taking notes. I absolutely love the additional sections added by Joyce such as Keys to a Victorious Life, A Prayer to Renew You Mind, Powerpoint, as well as the opening sections of each book which includes Verses for Victory and Winning Thoughts from that Book of the Bible.

I like the power points and the prayers and the comments between the chapters. Joyce Meyers helps us to understand the purposes of that particular book of the Bible and what we can learn in our daily life from that chapter . I have several Bibles for some strange reason I have collected so many for so many reasons but for now this is the one I chose to go with for now. I have study Bibles and they do help you go deeper into the Word, but you also spend so much time figuring out what is happening and how that chapter or book is to help you today. Anything she writes is straight on the button. She continues to help you grow in the Lord by making it clear to you what you need to know and what you need to do. I just love all her books that I have purchase in the past.

I really love this Bible but would love to see it leveled up to a pink calfskin or goatskin leather as the amplified version does not have a premium real leather edition anywhere. The inside is gorgeous so beautiful with the pretty blue accents and all of the joyce meyer's commentary, prayers, speak the word notes are awesome. I would just love a leveled up version. I would definitely buy it. Also it would be nice to have 3 3/8 beresford ribbons, spine hubs and art guild where there are two colors on the guilding.

I am enjoying this Bible. I am currently leading a Bible study with the Battlefield text book so this Bible has been a great resource. It has encouraging devotionals and prayers, PowerPoints and Keys to a Victorious Life notes throughout. It links perfectly with the text book but going through the text is not necessary to enjoy this Bible. Love it!

It will gives you the answers of all of your unsolving problems based on the word of god. And leads you towards the close relationship with god You can feel the god's love in every notes and articles which is given in each chapter.
