My lovely boy is almost 13 now and started suffering really badly with arthritis last winter and could hardly walk, shaking and trembling legs leaving him struggling to even go for toilet visits. After medication from the vet which upset his tummy a lot and made him quite poorly, I started looking for a natural supplement instead. After trying two other products which didn't seem to help him much, I came across MaxxiFlex Plus. This contains a variety of quality ingredients that research suggested would be beneficial for an older dog like mine. Wanting an effective treatment that left my dog pain-free and able to walk more easily, I decided to try MaxxiFlex and bought it in May. You are recommended to give a double dose initially, but that upset my lads tummy (although he has always had a sensitive stomach). I reduced the dose to the normal recommended (2 tablets a day for him). Unlike lots of dogs seem, he doesn't like the taste, so I break them in half and squash a bit of sandwich spread around them. He gobbles them straight down now! My dog has gone from being in agony and unable to get up without help when he's been lying down, to getting to his feet on his own and walking without wobbling and also seems to have no pain. While he will never be racing around like he used to, for an arthritic dog he does get around just fine without needing help to stand. He is now going for 3 short walks a day, slowly I admit, but he seems to enjoy them and its helping him to keep more mobile. The rest of the day he wanders round the garden as he likes and it has restored quality of life for him. If you have a problem with your own dog, I highly recommend you give this product a try for a couple of months. It has been so beneficial for my lad, worth every penny spent.

I can't say it enough THANKS for producing a product that works . My dog is 14 yes old and was on other supplements and pain meds . We took her off meds as they made her ill and slowly she stared to scrape her back legs when walking which slowly progressed into a limp. She's not been on these that long but we can really see an improvement. She's now wanting to play , walking better and the limping has gone . So looking forward to seeing her in a month or so if taking these if this is how she is after a month .

I use Maxxi Cardio and Maxxi Same for my dogs and both products are superb, and have had a profound benefit to their health . Off the back of this , I ordered Maxxi Flex for the dog that has arthritis. He loved the taste, but within a week I noticed each time he had had the tablet, he looked very bloated and was licking his tummy. I followed instructions to reduce the dose, but it still seemed to trigger bloating. So last week, I witheld the tablet all week , and no bloating whatsoever. Yesterday I tried a tablet again and within a few minutes , he was laying out with his bloated tummy and licking his tummy . I can't say which ingredient triggers this, but my instinct tells me it may be the liver in the product because he doesn't do well on any offal . A great shame as I have about 95 tablets left, and I do believe they were improving his mobility and joints . I must stress , the other products I use from Maxxi Paws are fantastic.EDIT;Maxxi paws contacted me via email to offer advice and assistance on the dose for Louie. Very helpful, with detailed knowledge and a potential plan to start him again at a much lower dose, as he can be sensitive to offal. And to very gradually, increase the dose and see how he goes. I intend to try this , and will post an update here, or a further review if that seems the better option. But how to fault such good customer service? Dachshund will be pleased to try them again, since he loves the taste , and I am pleased to give it another try, because of the great ingredients in this tablet . Maxxi paws also refunded my payment for this item in case it doesnt work out. This was unprompted, and I was astonished by this since I have had the product for 5 weeks now . An indication of the approach this company takes to customer service.

I started my girl on these after numerous failed attempts and disappointment with other 'leading brands.' I re-homed my girl last year and although she had not come from an abusive home, she had not been walked for about a year when she came to us and had a very strange gait, obvious muscle weakness and after a trip to the vet, a diagnosis of early arthritis in back legs and maybe one front. It was dreadful watching her struggle to get up from her bed, limp around the garden and hesitant about longer walks - she was 7. I started Maxxi Flex about 3 months ago and yes, it did take at least a month for her mobility to hugely improve, earlier signs though, had been promising. She is on her 4th pack now and I can honestly say, she is like a different dog. She has the sweetest nature, but now, she has turned into a playful 'up for it' type of girl and in the last couple of weeks has actually started the very alert, 'I'm-going-to-get-you' bounce - all four paws off the ground whilst in hot pursuit of a squirrel...It is thrilling to see her free of pain and enjoying her life to the full now; flying over ditches, having mad moments with her new friends and loving games of chase. She is a big girl, 32k - full of muscle now, though - and I started her on 6 of these tablets a day - I just pop them on her food. She loves them. I kept her to the 6 tabs a day for a month and gradually reduced, to her 3 a day now. I do not use any other supplements, but do give her sardines a couple of times a week along with a natural grain free wet food. I really cannot say how wonderful it is to see her so active and happy, and enthusiastic about life - although she has started to want longer walks now, which isn't always a great thing in the rain and dark!
