Lock quality and resistance.

The good: - A relatively solid little lock. For me its too small to fit around the front wheel of my bike and over the bike body, but I still use it for locking the front wheel to a bike rack (its just wide enough to fit over the bike rim and tyre). Make sure you check the product dimensions before buying - its smaller than I thought it would be (my mistake). - I found setting the code for the lock painless (contrary to some other reviewers here). - Shipped quite quickly. The not so good: There is some play in the shackle because of the way the lock works: the one side of the shackle simply inserts into the lock but is not secured in any way. What prevents this side of the lock being removed is the shape of the shackle and the length of the housing that the shackle sits in. I'm not sure if the lock could be pried open with a breaker bar of some sort because of this design.

Robust and durable product - all you need in a padlock. I was a little confused when it arrived with no instructions on setting the code. Common sense prevailed and I checked this page listing on amazon and there it is. I like that you practically have to take it apart to reset the pin - it seems more secure and is easily done.

Firstly it isnt the most obvious lock to figure out. No instructions are included so I had to take to the comments and review sections to figure you have to take out and aline the codes on the red notches. I've set up my passcode, changed the numbers and upon pulling the lock and bar apart to check its locked and tight, it comes off. I really wasn't pulling it much, certainly no where near as hard as someone who was actually trying break through the lock. I've tried changing code and turning numbers further away from my passcode but to no luck! Very disappointed with the build and sturdiness of the product, I can only advise that you look elsewhere for a sturdy reliable lock.

Quite easy to use good length padlock delivered quickly. Was easy to use and turn at first but after a few rainy days could barely turn the dials at all, should do better as it is described as an outdoor lock. After removing the dials and spraying with WD40 it works like brand new! Would make sure you do this otherwise it’s not suitable as an outdoor lock, but with WD40 it is good for a garden shed.

Perfect for my Keter maxi . Wanted a combination lock so U didn’t have to carry a key around and this fits perfectly. Only just arrived so don’t know how well it will cope with the weather. And it came with instructions which were very easy to follow .

Was received well before expected delivery date which was fantastic, & packaged nicely. As others have said, no information on how to change default code, but managed to find answer on Amazon comments. Product itself is being used on outside path gate to stop annoying kids get into garden to fetch football. Works a treat and has been very amusing watching them walk off without their ball 😃 Only issue so far is, when it's wet, it's very hard to change numbers because your fingers can't grip each ring. Can't really complain considering the price. Product seems sturdy enough for a gate lock, and so far I'm impressed. Well worth the money.
