Excellent Coconut milk - best ive tried.
I was sceptical before I bought this product. Did I want 12 boxes of disappointment without seeing any reviews here or anywhere on the internet? But I just couldn't resist the ingredient content: 75% COCONUT EXTRACT AND WATER? 1 LITRE? NO BPA? NO ADDED GUMS/WOOD CELLULOSE/PRESERVATIVES? AT THAT PRICE?! Lemme risk it. The closet thing I read online that it may be comparable to is Aroy D's 100% coconut milk which only seems to be available in America.I've tried Chaokoh, canned Aroy-D milk, Rajah, Waitrose Organic, Biona, canned Kingfishers Organic milk and many others. The best one out of these is the Waitrose Organic brand but it was too pricey (£2.09 per 400ml). Biona is a watery mess (huge disappointment) and Kingfisher Organic is a revolting grayish watery sludge and it cost me the same price as the Waitrose brand! Never buy it! Oh and don't get me started on Koko's (Kara in some countries) "Coconut" milk which is A WASTE OF MONEY. High priced white filtered water! But this is by far is the best coconut milk available in the UK. It's so cheap compared to the other coconut milks out there. It's excellent if you use coconut milk in alot of recipes on a daily basis e.g. lattes, desserts, sauces etc. Its in a tetra pack so no BPA. Its 1 litre at £1.44 per carton with 75% coconut milk content! No additives, fillers or preservatives. Its just coconut and water. The taste is sweet and 'coconuty'. The coconut doesn't separate from the water because the coconut content is so high you can tell its a premium product. Straight from the box its a heavy dense cream but when you warm it in the pan it becomes more liquid so you can use it for ANYTHING. I've been looking for a cheap alternative to milk and cream but buying coconut milk by the can was hurting my wallet.I hope this product never goes out of stock and never raises its price - getting coconut milk in the carton over here is so difficult especially at such an amazing price and quality. To me this beats the organic brands that put their food in tins!!! Maybe it will motivate companies to stop with their cheap fillers, poisonous packaging and rip off prices with like 2% coconut actually inside the damn thing! *ahem* -_____-Thank you Amazon!

Great value
Very good coconut milk, it's thick and fragrant and perfect for cooking curry or desserts. It's a good price and it's a tetrapak which I prefer to a can!

Lovely taste, creamy consistency and healthy too
I really appreciate this coconut milk because I generally eat dairy-free and it makes a great substitute for cream. When put in the fridge, it thickens up to the consistency of double cream or even thicker. It is very nice in coffee. It has a mild taste and doesn’t make the coffee taste of coconut. I also like to eat it straight from a bowl with a spoon.Coconut milk is good for health, containing medium chain fatty acids. This brand contains no harmful additives, another thing I really appreciate about it.It is not cheap but I find it worth the money.

tasty but.....
This makes great mid eastern or far eastern food and British hot chocolate but once you open a carton, you need to use it all up there and then. You can refridgerate it but the fat content is so high that the contents quickly solidify. If you want a bit in your cuppa next morning, forget it. I have been decanting some to a jam jar and refridgerating it before melting it off a bit so that I can actually get it out of the jar and use it. I only really want 100ml in my tea in the mornings but that is hard to organise, because of the solidifying fat. So I have just bought some coconut powder, to see if that's easier. If you add some vanilla and cocoa to this milk, it makes the best hot chocolate you will ever want. Only a fraction of sugar/sweetener is needed as coconut already is fairly sweet.

Good quality and value and distant expiration
. Thick and consistent [By comparison, The cans I buy at Asda are watery with lumps of thick milk, but these are completely consistent throughout]. The expiration date on my cartons is Feb 2018 [Ordered Nov 2016]. At £24, they are £2 / litre [Asda currently carry 400ml cans at £2, so they are £5 / litre]. The warning on the package is to refrigerate after opening and throw out after 3 days. I left some in cupboard for 5 days and it went sour.

Would buy again
Made Thai red curry. When you fry the coconut milk with the curry paste, there not as much fat comes off the milk as I would have expected. But the flavour and consistency is nice. Also it’s not runny the milk is almost like cream consistency when it comes out the carton

Serious good stuff - never found commercial coconut milk as good as this
Really nice product that hasn't got the weird taste many canned versions have - even those without nasties don't taste as nice as this.I use it neat in soups, Asian dishes etc but water it down 1 -1.5 cups of water to 1 cup of coconut milk for my general purpose non-dairy milk. It works out cheaper than the coconut 'milk drinks' that are thin and have loads of other ingredients some of which are very dubious.I freeze some as ice cubes and in jars if I don't think I'll use the whole carton up in time. It freezes really well. The best commercial coconut milk I've found and I've been searching with difficulty for something this good on the high street and whole food shops. I'm the latest fan.
