Smells good/ holds good.
Love this stuff! Smells good! Easy to work/comb in and doesn’t grip as you comb. Hold is really great and as I prefer a more matt look to a shine it’s not too shiny. Definitely a bargain at the price and you get a really good amount. Definitely one you want to buy lads.

Does what it says but the scent is arguable
Having used gel for years which dries to a hard rock solid finish it was time to switch to a new product. I've got thick hair and this does the job very will with only a small amount needed to style. The scent; I hear a lot of people raving about how good it smells with most commenting between baby powder and coconut, I guess it is between the two. Not the scent I would have picked personally although it smells fresh to me it's not very manly. It does a good job at holding style, I've gone from slick back to spiked up recently and it does last the day. I'd say it's not quite wet look but a darker tone than beach wax. To me I'm happy with it, splash of water and I can restyle throughout the day. Only downside is expect 3 shampoos and begin conditioning if you don't already to get it out your hair. My hair went from a natural feel to a greasy straw like feel after a weeks use but I'm sure switching shampoo to a more gunk type remover wil solve this. Overall 4/5 because to me the scent could be more manly. It's still a good product though and I expect this will last me 6 months at least so well worth the price for 200ml.

GENUINE PLUCKO POMADE - IDEAL FOR FRESHY CUT AND COLOURED BLONDED SHORT HAIR
I decided to by this on gut feeling . Years ago i used to buy whole tubes of coconut oil to use on my hair when id been sunbathing in the garden. I don't go in much for the nut brown look now , *however * i do go in for the coconut oil and other hair/scalp conditioners . I used to wash the coconut oil out a couple of days later and id have lovely hair . I have had short hair for a number of years now ( about down to the nape of my neck ) not knowing a lot about the vast array of gels oils , creams but having my hairdresser restyle and totally colour my hair in a day or so i decided i would go for new product to really get the full experience and saw this . I ordered on good reviews and tried and tested opinions . My Pluko arrived to day and i can tell you im not disappointed !! . I opened the lid and was greeted with the most lovely smell that reminds me of far away islands with swaying palm trees i just wanted to dive into the pot , my mother was visiting and commented on it and said ohh lovely mix and said im sure if anything this stuff will really do my hair and scalp a favour , I have not actually used it yet but im saving the experience for the hair cut and colour but im sure from what i can see this will do the job of pulling and pushing those bits of hair i want to pull round my cheekbones and or flick up or down or twiddle around , in other words short hair .!!! A veritable decade of use in a large pot , this looks and feels like a dream in a pot . The pot looks good on my dressing table , it would make a nice gift and you will be temped to try the range in these , if you walk past you will be temped to open the lid just for a sniff , anyone smelling this on you should really get nice experience along with a clean body your set to GO GO GO ...i love it and i wont complain if my hair isn not as stiff as a board , i just think its a conditioning experience as well ( plus i do have other pots of wax if all else fails but i doubt it ..BUY IT you wont regret it .

Hair styling product
My husband’s number 1 hair product, I buy on repeat from same seller - a product we know works, this size lasts a long time & is reasonably priced. Delivery is always quick & efficient.

Classic stuff works like a charm but caution for drying out hair and scalp
Been using this stuff for 10 years now. So glad I decided to buy a big 'ol tub instead of dishing out £5 for the mini pot in boots. Works amazingly well for other styles as well - not just the pomp (I'd never style a pomp for myself). Apply whilst damp and get a pretty strong hold for spiked up/high rise styles. Also to wash out is nowhere near as tough as Murray's. Just apply a TINY amount of shampoo on first (I use FAT HAIR shampoo) i mean literally a grape size and it won't lather up at all but rub it in gently and cover all the hair. Rinse that out and apply a normal amount again and watch that baby lather up! works every time Bear in mind people that the big tub does in fact have a few more ingredients added to it compared to the mini pot so if that concerns you just thought i'd throw that out there. Comment if you want me to list what's different. Edit: 2 years have passed and the big pot has kicked it and it's time to buy a new one. BTW this didn't last 2 years I happened to have someone give me the mini 50ml pot so in 2 years i've used 250mls. I have to admit my hair styles have changed a bit and have noticed that although I enjoyed it very much I've come across a downside. The product is water based and is very easy to wash out however I've noticed that the product actually dries out towards the end of the day. Also it's worth noting that the product can actually dry out the scalp making it a little itchy the next day before you wash your hair again. That's why i think it's important to throw caution with regards to not only this product but most pomade and waxes WILL leave your hair and scalp rather dry.

Initial impression is... meh!
I've been using Layrite original for years, but the price has shot up recently, so I was looking for an alternative. This seemed cheap and people love it so I thought I'd give it a go. It's not a comparable product. This is oily and makes my hair feel a bit greasy and is a pain to wash out. It is reworkable throughout the day, which is good if that's what you're looking for, but it doesn't hold for long periods. I found my hair was very flyaway in the wind and even with the addition of hairspray this didn't change... in fact it was almost as if the hairspray had nothing to hold (presumably because the greasy nature of the product) and made little difference. Personally I want to style and forget about it for the rest of the day, and with this I was constantly messing with my hair to keep it styled. Changing quantities didn't make much difference to the way it acts, but did add to the greasy feeling. I'll persevere for a while and see if I have a change of heart, but after 2 weeks I can't see myself buying this again. Update: After 4 weeks I've given up on this. It's just not a strong enough hold for me, and I'm spending twice as long washing my hair. I've bought Dear Barber Pomade and it's a stronger hold and very similar to Layrite. I'd recommend that one despite it being a lot more expensive.
