I purchased the Biotin Hair Growth Supplement from NU U Nutrition for a couple of reasons I wanted to have stronger shiny hair, stronger nails and because over the last few months I noticed that my hair towards the left side of my hairline is receding a little. Not to mention the overall thickness and volume of my hair declined each time I took a shower. The solution was simply no more showers just kidding if only life was that simply. Rather then going for the no shower route I opted for biotin option, After ordering from Amazon and selecting next day delivery the product arrived the next day intact. The package was nicely wrapped like the embrace of a long lost lover. When I finally broke the lover's embrace and opened the biotin bottle I saw that there was a year's supply of Biotin. This gave me a pleasant surprise because although I was aware that I would be getting a year supply, I initial thought that it would arrive at my door in monthly installments and that each bottle would consists of 30-31 pills. After taking one a day for over a week my hair looks and feels stronger, not to mention my nails. At the corner of my hairline where the hair is almost non-existent there is visible growth. This is confirmed with the before and after picture I took. My nails has also grow and not to mention showers now feel great because I leave the same way I came in and not less yea. The only negative thing I would say that is although my hair was growing and looking healthy, something new was also growing as well. Something that was not so healthy a by-product of taking biotin of such high strength and that was a single cystic acne on my left side of my cheek, a few pimples on my forehead and oily skin that I noticed on the third day. Of course like most people I did my research before purchasing Biotin and was well aware this would happen. But knowing it is going to happen and having it happen is another thing. To rectify the situation there were two solutions suggested by my research. 1) Drinking gallons and gallons of water every day in order to flush out the remaining Biotin from system. 2) Take B5. 3) Stop taking it Since I not a horse, nor would I be spending time in the desert any time soon as well as to save myself the embarrassment of carrying a backpack that contained nothing but bottles of water (oh my poor back). And not wanting to take option three after seeing incredible results I opted for the second solution. After purchase B5 from my local store and combining it with my Biotin I am no longer breaking out. The cystic acne of the side of my cheek has reduced in sizes and I have not suffered any more breakouts and not to mention that I am no longer looking like an oily painting. My conclusion is the Biotin Hair Growth 365 tablets works wonders for your hair as I have seen the results first hand and as I will continue taking I can only guess at the results which so far have been positive (minus the bumpy face). It is a year's supply and at such a great price. But as a caution take it with either water or B5 or drink water like a horse because if you do not you be the guy/girl with great hair but bumpy skin or maybe you be the exceptions and it would not affect you..... ps I am using it with B5 and a DHT shampoo. There no point in growing new hair with the biotin only for it to be taken away again by DHT. update ================== Captain's log star date 27.07.2016 it been a while since I have been using Biotin along with my DHT blocker so I thought I post my result. I let you be the judge. It appears that B5 has slowed down the breakouts to some extent but not completely. To counter the rest of the breakouts I have also added a salicylic acid peel 2 percent strength which I use daily as well as a blue light therapy. It seems to be working so far

So, I first bought this product a few months back (January 2016), after having read a whole long list of reviews, praising it to high heaven, "Does exactly what it says on the tin!" all that stuff... and I started taking it, religiously, one a day.... and I waited. And I waited. And my nails were still flaky, thin, bendy, brittle and breaking at every single slight mishap. I read more information on line, and found somewhere, several people who recommended taking up to 5 tablets in one day.... so I began doing that.... No adverse side-effects, nothing to indicate any contra-conditions... doing ok.... and still, my nails were flaking and breaking, and I thought, "God what a waste of money this has been!" But I also read somewhere else that nails can take anything up to 4 months+ to grow from the nail-bed (cuticle) down to the tip, so, I chose to persevere, because frankly, the nails which were still flaking, breaking and brittle, were there (so to speak) before I began taking this product. I also have to confess that I bought another brand (same strength) after I finished the first pot.... And now.,,,,? Well here we are in August 2016, and as they say in modern parlance, it's "Totes amaze-balls". My nails are incredible. They're strong, rigid, even and long. They're longer than they've ever been. I joked with a friend of mine that I noticed how strong they were when I opened a tin of beans with my thumb-nail - ok, I'm exaggerating, but honestly? The difference is astounding. The key word therefore, is PERSEVERE. My colleagues all admire my nails. They think they're elegant and very feminine (which is fortunate, as I'm a lady!) They all have lovely nails too. These fashionable acrylic ones with gel nail varnish. The ones that cost you a small fortune to apply, then need 'building up' every few weeks, which costs more money.... These tablets seem like an expensive outlay, but people, trust me. They're worth their weight in gold, and so much better than 'falsies'! I now file my nails regularly to get rid of any sharp burrs, but don't have to worry about chipping, flaking, snapping breaking or snagging. Where previously doing some things would have made me groan in disappointment and frustration because, "damn! I've broken a nail opening this drawer!" now, any risky moves, I check my nail and good grief, it's still all there! unblemished, whole and lookin' gooood!! Brilliant product. But persevere. Wait. Be patient. Treat your nails well, keep them short and trimmed and one day, you'll suddenly realise how fabulous your nails finally are!

I purchased this product in November 2015, and thought I'd wait until now to leave a review so I'd had enough time to sample the product. I've been taking this supplement for around 4 months now, as I suffer from hair loss, and I have to say it's slowly but surely working. - I've had no side effects. - My eyebrows are slowly growing in so they're no longer patchy. - My eyelashes are growing quicker. - Hair is slowly growing through in my little patches on my scalp, whereas before I started taking these, no such hair was growing. Maybe it's a coincidence, but I believe this product is helping my hair to grow, and stopping it falling out. I will definitely be continuing to take this supplement daily!

Great Product and a year supply

I purchased these in April this year and purposely left my review for a while to allow a long enough period of time for the verdict. The dosage is just one per day...I have religiously taken one a day, every day and still do. Why? Because these are the only product I have used that actually, genuinely makes a difference. I was having thinnning of the hair at the front and was losing so much hair it was getting very scary as it was happening for many, many months! I tried several things to no effect but after reading the reviews for this and being desperate, I gave them a try. It was the best decision I have ever made as my hair feels healthier, thicker (especially at the problem front areas) and the hair loss has reduced so much I am now more confident as to me...how my hair is, affects my confidence...my husband used to comment always how he constantly finds so much of my hair in the home and in his car? Not any more. During this period of use, I occasionally do lose hair but I believe it is the natural cycle of hair loss we all apparently have...but it is nowhere near the amount I was losing. Also my hair has grown in length too...it is the longest it has been and could be why I lose that small amount at time...it needs a trim 😀 It is supposed to work with nails to, of which I cannot comment on due to the fact that as my nails were so poor, my daughter paid for nail tips (French nail manicure) in June for my birthday and although I only had them for a few weeks, after I had them removed (didn't want the cost of constantly having them refilled!) to see how they grow naturally, they keep splitting and breaking; I believe this is down to the nail bed being filed and not due to this product so I am now starting to notice an improvement and hoping it continues. If I remember, I will update my review regards nail growth. So ladies, I guess it could depend on the individual person but I strongly believe these are definitely worth a go and I strongly recommend. I intend to continue for as long as my hair continues to behave!

I have used this for months and while it seems to be a decent supplement, I didn’t see dramatic results. The micro tablets are easy to swallow, and the 365 tablets provide good value for the price. I did notice some improvement in my nail strength and slight hair growth, but the changes were quite gradual and not as noticeable as I had hoped. It took a few weeks to start seeing any differences, so I think this supplement works, but it may require a bit more patience than other supplements I’ve tried. Overall, it’s a solid biotin option, but the results weren’t as immediate or dramatic as I expected. It’s a decent, affordable choice if you’re looking for a gradual improvement.

I bought these biotin supplements after they were recommended by my hair dresser. I have an underactive thyroid and as a result my hair snaps and breaks and sheds and sometimes it's very coarse and dull and it's very noticeable as I have long hair. I have now been taking them for 3 months (I wanted to allow sufficient time to see results before reviewing) and I can say in the first few days I noticed my nails were stronger and harder. I have noticed my hair shedding is a lot less especially when I wash it no dead rat in the plug hole! I have also noticed on a day to day basis less hair comes out in the brush and the breakage is a lot less. I have noticed my hair feels softer and its shinier and looks a lot healthier than it did. My hairdresser said my hair felt stronger, so that's a good sign too. I have had a slight breakout of spots a few weeks in to taking the biotin but it was only a few spots and they cleared quickly so if you do experience this persevere because mine cleared with 4-5 days and I think it's just your body adjusting to the oils from the biotin. One point to note this is not a miracle cure for hair loss, yes it helps but you need to allow several months before you may see a difference, also note the state of your health will have some impact on how quickly you see results as I have recently had surgery and my immune system is quite low so I have had the cough & cold bug going around and I have noticed as a result some of my nails feel weaker again and have snapped, hopefully once I'm over this and my health improves I hope the biotin will help to strengthen my nails again. I think if your health is poor when you start taking these supplements you will take longer to see the results. I have noticed my skin has felt softer, but it's still quite dry, hopefully this will improve. I have already recommended these to several friends and I will continue to take these as they are fantastic value for a 12 month supply. Thank you NuU for a great product.
