Great little whisk
Good, general whisk to have in your kitchen drawer. No problems so far, easy to use and clean and it’s a good size too.

Every bit as good as I'd hoped
Bought this after a cheap supermarket one and then a slightly less cheap supermarket one both fell apart after being used several times to mix thick things. The super cheap one had a thin, bendy metal handle which was hard to grip and almost hurt when mixing anything thick - this oxo one is completely the opposite. The handle is solid, chunky but shaped for grip and has a rubbery feel to touch (although I don't think it's rubber all the way through as it feels more solid). The whisk part seems strong and not bendy so far, and now I've used it several times it doesn't show any sign of being about to fall apart. It somehow makes it actually feel easier to whisk things too, probably just because it's so easy to grip I guess. This is a decent size whisk too, I'd call it an average home kitchen size, not huge but not small. I was looking at the potato masher in the same range but didn't want to buy both online at the same time without seeing them - now I've used this I'll be ordering the masher too as I'm fed up of buying cheap utensils which end up being bendy or fall apart etc. This feels like good quality which will last.

Expensive but quality
Very expensive but it is really good. It's weighty and solidly built I can't really comment on the whisking capacity because I use it really for stirring gravy. It's easy to use and feels solidly made. Very pleased. But hey, lower yae prices a bit.

Top quality, thoughtfully designed product
I purchased this whisk recently to replace a cheap whisk I'd been making do with for a long time. There is a very notable difference between the two. My old one had a silicone covering on the wires, which over time, had started to come loose at the ends. I didn't like having to send a long time washing it to ensure nothing was caught under the silicone layer, making it unhygienic. The handle was shiny, thin and cylindrical with a sharp edge to it so wasn't terribly comfortable for long term use. The Oxo whisk, on the other hand, is an absolute joy to use. It is neither too lightweight, nor too heavy; it has just the right amount of weight behind it, making it perfectly balanced. This ensures easy, more efficient whipping so you won't be working at that bowl of cream for what seems like a lifetime. The handle has a nice soft grip to it preventing unwanted friction whilst in use and the wider shape makes it feel very natural to hold. It also washes up easily by hand since there's no fiddly silicone covering on it but is indeed dishwasher safe too. As a professional chef, I have used many types and brands of whisks in work and something which can be quite common is the wires coming loose after heavy usage. The wires on the Oxo whisk, however, are very sturdy without being clunky and are held firmly in place with a little resin giving this whisk the longevity that many cheaper whisks lack. That being said, it's also great value for how well designed it is. If you are someone who is looking for one good quality, versatile whisk and are not sure which size to choose, I’d recommend you go for the 11 inch (28cm) over the smaller 9 inch one. The 11 inch is a good all-rounder, whereas the actual head of the latter is probably smaller that you would imagine. The size and extra wire in the larger version will also mean for less strenuous work on your arm! Overall, this is a wonderful product from a highly regarded company, that I see myself using for many years to come.

Sturdy and Perfectly designed
I recently moved out my family house and I've just started buying all the things I need for my kitchen, the other day I was watching a G. Ramsay video on the internet and I've noticed he was using this whisk, as I wanted to replicate his dish I was tempted to get a somewhat cheaper one, As the price was reasonable and it looked particularly well-made I've decided to go for this one and I haven't regret. For one thing, you don't want any clumping in a sauce or custard and things do tend to get clumpy if you can't get into the inner edge of a saucepan. With a bit of pressure, you can whisk into every inch of a saucepan. This is not always possible with a plastic whisk which is definitely not as flexible. The rubber handle on this whisk is very well made and makes it easy to keep a firm grip all the times even with wet hands/ The 10 stainless steel wires are very sturdy because they are sealed into the base of the handle with a clear resin material preventing food from being trapped and also making it easy to clean. The medium size in my opinion makes it versatile for eggs, cream and everything else you'll ever need a whisk for. You can wash it in the dishwasher without fear! Stainless steel, ergonomic handle, useful for whisking cream, eggs etc; looking forward to using it
I am very pleased with this small whisk, the stainless steel handle is just the right size for my small hands, the handle feels comfortable plus it’s not hollow therefore no water can collect in it ( as another reviewer stated about the type of handle on the other option of this whisk). I haven’t used the whisk yet but I see it as ideal for whisking cream, beating eggs, mixing/stirring gravy, liquid beverages etc; I don’t think it will be suitable for mixing things like dough, pastry, or possibly heavier fruit cake mix, but if it proves to be good for cream, eggs, gravy that’s all I will expect and I may consider ordering a larger size of this whisk. I will write an update review when I’ve actually used this whisk. I have now used the whisk and I’m very happy with it, I would now like to buy the larger one but it must be available with the stainless steel handle.
