I have two deep cuts on my leg. The wound care specialist at my local hospital recommended I buy some silver calcium alginate wound care pads to put on top of my cuts when I wrapped my leg at home. I followed her advice. My wounds are healing quite will now. One thing you need to know about this product is that It will not adhere to your wound unless you wrap gauze over it because it has no adhesive on it. I highly recommend this product.

Bought this for a wound opening I had after a tummy tuck , it was open for 4 weeks after I bought this it closed in less than 2 weeks . Before wearing this my wound used to discharge so much liquid it went right thru the gauze and shirt with this is small but somehow it never leaked thru my shirt

I really liked these patches , they helped the healing process. I bought a box of 12. 2inX2in, at first. One was not enough to cover the wound, therefore I had to use 2 in-order to cover the wound. They are expensive if you have to use them for 6 weeks every day.
