Replacement product
This is my second one of these. I used my first one for over 10 years, but it wasn't heating well, so this is the replacement. Love this product! Works on thick and thin hair. Easy to use. Cools off quickly and easy to store. Would be good for teenagers. Hard to burn yourself unlike a curling iron.

Good results
I have a bob haircut and it’s great for smoothing and also if I want more soft curl.

Good Quality and Good Curl
It heated up quickly. I air dried my hair and used it to get rid of the wave and add a bit of curl. It didn't take long at all. I was impressed that I didn't need to leave it in long to achieve the curl. That way you don't fry your hair. Even the cord is a nice thick quality and has a velcro wrap to keep it neat. I dropped one star because the "stay cool" tip was only cool at the very tip. I grabbed it a few times just a tad off the tip and it was pretty hot. Not burn you hot, but not comfortable. Happy with this replacement of an older and thicker unit.

Wow-Worthy Styling Brush
The brush heats up quickly, and is easy to use. It can be used to straighten or curl hair. The tip of the brush remains cool to the touch, and the bristles do not get get burning hot. I love, love love that I can select the temperature! I used it on the lowest setting, because I don't wand to scorch my "precious silvers." My hair looked healthy, smooth and positively shining after using it. My coworkers raved about how nice my hair looked!

This is just as good as the "Perfector."
I've used the Perfector for years, but my last one died. I tried to find a replacement, but the price has sky-rocketed!The Miracomb is just as good and about half the price.

the top keeps catching and ripping my hair
As far as the function of this item, it seems no better or worse than similar and less expensive ones -- however I chose this one because the handle design seemed a better shape for more comfortable holding, and because (unlike the others) I wouldn't end up accidently changing the heat setting or turning it off while holding the handle and using. That was my biggest reason to pay the little higher price for this one.One downside, the tip does get hot and it appears to be flush tight to rest of the item, but my hair seems to keep getting caught and ripped where the tip meets the bristle/heat area. :-(

The Miracomb hair curler straightening brush was just as described.
I'm very happy with the Miracomb hair curler straightening brush. It was packaged beautifully, and the box also contained a cover for brush and a small "rake" to clean the brush. The temperature setting lights up red when you chose your temperature out of five options from 250 to 400 degrees. The brush heats quickly. It has a half hour automatic shut off. I use the brush to turn my shoulder length hair under. My naturally curly hair smooths out and curls under. The tip gets warm but does not get hot enough to burn. I purchased this item to replace my In Styler brush that failed to last very long. I give the Miracomb a 10!

DO NOT BUY this evil torture device masquerading as a mere curling comb!
I was so excited to try this. The first portion of hair I tried got a little stuck, but I managed to uncurl the "Miracomb" with a little maneuvering, so I was more careful curling up the second portion of my hair, and the photos should say it all. A little--TINY--stray wisp of hair got wrapped toward the end, and when I went to uncurl it...it wouldn't move. It wouldn't uncurl! I curled it a little more thinking it might be caught toward the scalp, but--NO!This thing is like a Chinese torture device for one's scalp! It did not feel like my hair was curled AROUND anything, but rather had been SUCKED INTO something. It wouldn't turn either direction. I tried to gingerly unwrap it ONE STRAND AT A TIME, and my hair would not move. I unplugged it when I realized the predicament I was in, and it took me 45 minutes of solid, excruciating struggle before I was able to rip--yes, RIP--my hair free from this thing. The final picture is the hair this device KEPT after 2 whole attempted uses.I have to get another haircut just to repair the damage this did. It was extraordinarily painful to boot. I can't return this fast enough. Now I just want to save people the nightmare of encountering this product. Use a curling iron--please!--for your own safety!
