The Fire Stormbook 3 (One Dollar Horse)

Fire Storm, the third book in the One Dollar Horse eventing trilogy, starts after Casey and Storm's Rolex victory. Casey is expecting to have countless offers of horses to ride after winning back to back 4**** events, and is surprised to find that no one steps up. Apparently the fact that Casey has never ridden any horses besides Storm (and had a handful of lessons on Patchwork, the lesson horse at Hope Lane) doesn't inspire confidence in other owners. I think it might have something to do with the fact that Casey and her coach Mrs Smith never seem to school over fences but that's just me.Casey actually acts kinda bratty and entitled in this book. First, despite Mrs Smith warning her that there are strings attached, she signs a contract to get a free lorry (horse van/trailer) without even reading the fine print. Next, she dumps Mrs Smith for the handsome, blond, “hottest coach in Britain”, Kyle West. Unfortunately, Kyle's training program isn't all it's cracked up to be, and without Casey and Storm to care for, Mrs Smith has no reason to keep fighting against the cancerous growth that she is refusing to acknowledge. One of the people working for Kyle seems to have it in for Storm, and another seems to be threatening Casey's life—all the while she's trying to prepare for Burghley, the third event in the coveted Grand Slam!!Another fun entry in this eventing series. Exciting and enjoyable.

grand daughter loves the 3 book series. she read it in a week. now I have to find another animal series for her

Great book! So disappointed the series has finished though. I really,really,really recommend this book. Gripping from beginning to end. If I were to give a total out of ten, it would be eleven

Very pleased

I don't read a lot of books - but grabbed one of my daughter's books to read on holiday - the first in this triology The One Dollar Horse - I was gripped from the first page, finished it in a day. The second book, Race The Wind and then this one, Fire Storm were just as good. Totally recommend this triology. The books do need to be read in the correct order and they are all about one horse and its owner - so an interest in horses would probably help. Buy them!

Couldn't put this book down. It was exciting, heart- throbbing,hilarious and romantic all at the same time. Packed with riding tips and lifestyle it was one of the best books I've ever read. Would recommend to anyone who likes animals or to people who love reading about the lifestyle of the outdoor world. Go and read NOW. You won't regret it.

This book is amazing from start to finish I have to admit they a the most exciting was near the end of the book but there was not a DULL moment my heart skipped a beat when she could have falleN you wouldn't suspect quite a few things in this amazing story if you are going to read the book and you enjoy it please read the other books like race the wind they are extremely enjoyable but i would recommend it to over9 as there is quite grown up words in there which may offend young childrenBy Charlotte connor aged 11

Lovely story for younger teaders

This horse trilogy is the best thing that I have ever read in my life! It is exciting, thrilling, romantic and sad from the beginning to the end. I have always dreamt of having a horse and this book is probably the closest I'll get, but I'm happy! THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!!!😁😁😁😁

What a great follow up if you love horses humans eventing and all the joys and sadness they bring then this is the trilogy for you.Great read really enjoyed living in Casey Blues world

I LOVE this series. The Story shows that you don't have to win to be a winner but with a gripping plot. The only thing that let this book down was the rushed ending- as it was the third and last of the One Dollar Horse series I felt that the end shouldn't have been so 'brief' and 'sudden'. But this is still an amazing book and Lauren St John is an amazing author!

I had read the other 2 books in the series and just had to buy this one. It is a thrilling story and makes you feel as if you are Casey, riding storm. It also makes you want to shed a few tears as it has an underlying romance to it. I have really enjoyed this book and wish there was another one after it.

Lauren st John is amazing, this book is so brilliant I would recommend to anyone. It begins with Casey Blue getting herself into an awful mess and every chapter brings new problems and ends with a cliffhanger. It ends beautifully and if you buy this book you will understand why I love it so much.

Bought for my ten year old daughter and she said "OMG, these books are awesome, amazing, fantastic, thrilling and simply the best". If your daughter loves horses, then this series is a must. They are her favourites and she reads CONSTANTLY, so that is a big recommendation.
