This product has a thicker grain than regular cornmeal, but does make great pancakes and is a pretty color.

In my family eating cornmeal mush with milk butter sugar for breakfast is a tradition. I passed this on to my granddaughters! Once I bought blue corn meal as a treat and Ava the 6 year old asked for it but I couldn’t locate until yours! It was a gorgeous purple blue and a giant bag for her birthday, LOL

Blue corn flour is impossible to get locally, so I'm really glad Los Chileros make it available online. The rich, nutty flavor adds a new dimension to pancakes and waffles, among many other things.

I love blue cornbread! I used to buy this brand and then it was gone for awhile. Now it's back, but much finer than it was before. It's almost like blue cornmeal flour now. I want my cornbread to be like cornbread, not cake like. Hope they go back to a more stone ground texture. The taste is incredible though!!

I used to buy the smaller 12 oz packages. I was a little hesitant to buy this, but the quality is the same excellent stuff as the nicer packages. I recommend some tupperware like container, but I have one that holds this.If you go through four pounds often enough that it won't go bad, this is great stuff. We love the coarse texture. Makes the best cornbread.

This is a product that is more common in the Southwest, but it should be available everywhere as it is a very, very fine source for homemade cornbread.

I like this product very much. I use it with yellow cornmeal (1/2 and 1/2) for my famous cornbread. 😊 I’ve also used it in blue cornmeal cookies. Yummy!!
