Update 7/10/18 after 1200 mile road trip with two big dogs: Worked great! Glad I stitched the straps. Used a big needle and dental floss. No issues whatsoever with this product after making the sewing modification. Took about 1/2 hr while I watched TV. I recommend this car seat cover. Original rating was a 3, bouncing it to a 5. The collapsible water bowl and seatbelt included were nice bonuses!Decent enough product out of the box. Have yet to test it on a road trip with my two dogs, one of which is about 60 lbs and the other about 95 lbs. Fits well in the backseat of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'm a little suspect of the quality of the straps that would make it a hammock attaching to the front headrests. If I just lay it over the floor, it won't be an issue.The main reason I didn't give this a higher rating is that the manufacturer, as been stated in other reviews, chose not to stitch the clasps, but to glue them. Would have taken all of 30 seconds to stitch these four clasp points at the factory. Other stitching looks good, but I can just about guarantee that my two dogs weight will pull the glue apart if I try to use it as a hammock and a way to keep them from wandering to the front seat by attaching to the front headrests. So I will have to stitch it myself. Not a huge deal, but really? Come on. Why should I have to do this myself?Will update this review after I get a chance to roadtrip with the hounds.

I love it and have already started using it. It came packed in a clear plastic bag along with an adjustable car safety seat belt for pets (long enough for my small dog to move around easily) and a disposable bowl (I didn’t know anything about bowl being there, that was an added bonus). It’s easy to install, material/edge finish looks good and fits perfectly. The middle part which goes on the seat has some sort of rubber lining at the bottom; I guess it is there to keep the cover in place while the pet is on board. It also has a little Velcro opening to fasten the car safety seat belt. So far it looks good and sturdy.Most importantly, my dog loves it. He immediately started playing with it.I’ve given it only 4 stars because the adjustable car safety seat belt “hook” is slightly loose. But, other than that it is definitely going to keep the car seat clean from fur and paw marks, as my dog loves to hop in the grass before getting into the car. I’ll definitely recommend it to others. If I experience any problem in future will update my review.

So glad we bought this. My husband has cloth seats in his car and it rained this week- normally we would've been cleaning off his seats because of the mud. But this kept his seats clean. It was easy to install and uninstall when we needed people to sit back there! I also like that our "lap" dog can't get up to the front seats to sit on one of us.

I have a Volvo XC60 and this fits the backseat as well as can be expected. It's not a perfect fit but does the job. My dog slides around more than I'd like but it is waterproof, so that's what you get. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, as it keeps the muddy foot prints and hair off my seats.

Love this car cover! We received it today and immediately installed it in our suv. It’s so easy to install and covers our entire backseat. Love this product! I take my dog to the water sometimes and he loves to jump in mud and puddles, and I hate to drive him home afterwards. This keeps my seats looking great and not muddy! I'm able to put this across my entire back seat and not worry at all. The material is great quality, and fits wonderfully.
