I originally bought the Erapta backup camera and it worked great—clear image, easy install, and reliable performance. After a while, the first unit stopped working. I reached out to the company, and they didn’t hesitate—they sent me a replacement for free, no hassle. That kind of customer service is rare these days. The new camera is working perfectly, and I’m back to reversing with confidence. Solid product backed by a company that stands behind what they sell. Highly recommend.

I had previously bought this camera and it worked flawlessly until a mouse chewed the wires to it! I ordered another one and the installation was straightforward and it works fantastic. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a good, reliable backup camera!! The angle of view is perfect as is the quality of the picture.

I have bought and used three of these eRapta backup cameras over the last 4 years, and I have to say that I am very satisfied with them. All three have worked without any issues. I installed them, hooked them up to my reverse lights and car stereos, and they just worked as intended. They have worked in all driving conditions too such as heavy rain, snow, extreme heat and high winds. I also liked that they were relatively simple to install. I liked that you simply mounted them over your license plate. Connecting them to your reverse lights or car stereo can be chore though depending on the vehicle. On some cars, it's not difficult at all though.There are really only two criticisms I have about these cameras. First, the picture quality isn't the best as it's standard definition (SD) resolution. Could it be better? Of course. However, the quality has been good enough for me. I can always tell what I am looking at when I am backing up my car. The visibility at night is also surprisingly very good. So, the low resolution isn't a big deal.The second critique is that the camera calibration (exposure, contrast, saturation, color balance etc.) seems to vary quite a lot. All three of my cameras have totally different color profiles. One is very saturated, another is very dull and unsaturated, and the third has very high contrast. I don't know why this is the case other than the manufacturer doesn't have standards for camera calibration before they ship and sell them which honestly isn't surprising considering it's a cheap Chinese product. It doesn't really affect the performance of the camera, but it might indicate a lack of good quality control on the manufacturer's part.Overall though, I have been very happy with these cameras, They were relatively easy to install, work as intended, work in all weather and driving conditions, and have lasted me 4 years so far with no issues. All this at a very affordable price too. I can't complain.

The camera works well and has good visibility. It was simple to install, and it fits snugly on the license plate without obscuring the numbers. The metal housing feels sturdy, and so far, it has held up to rain without a problem. Overall, a good value for the money.

Incredible product. The image was very clear and precise, and the wide angle is perfect. The design of the camera is interesting, with the lights around the camera, but that just adds to the uniqueness of the product!

It was easy to install and worked with my Pioneer DMH-W4460NEX radio. The picture quality is great! The installation instructions were easy to follow.

(Please read update below.)After all the pains of installation due to the laughable installation instructions (a picture page of the pieces involved with very little relation to reality plus Chinese-English text that pretty much said, “Install here”), the actual camera sends no image to the head unit. Tested all circuits, used CCTV monitor, all wiring of good, camera is DOA. I have contacted eRapta.New:ERapta reached out to me via email. They have refunded the original purchase price and have promised me a replacement camera. I can’t give the product a complete review until I receive the camera, but the customer service is good.

Camera works as it should. Image quality is on par with any other backup camera in the same price range. Package includes a convenient license plate mount and a smaller mount (I suppose it would be useful if you don't have a license plate in the centered in the rear of your vehicle). I am using the license plate mount for simplicity.
